Music transcends generations

I took my almost 18 year old daughter to see Thursday on Friday and she was more star struck than I was. She wants to see TBS next (I’ve already told her she will be disappointed)

so - Thursday was great, Geoff was great, the band was great, wade was great, the merch was great, sound was great and everything was just pretty fucking awesome. I was against the barrier to the left side of the stage and there was no one at all behind me or to my left. The outfit change was fucking peak. Loved it. Unfortunately, you can tell everyone is going to be very very very tired by the end of the tour, and who knows if Geoff’s voice is going to hold up to 2 sets a night on this tour since he even talked about that early into the second FC set. I guess it’s what happens when you’ve been around for 28+ years. as much as I don’t want to admit it, I’m not 15 anymore like when I first heard Full Collapse.

the vibe was just kind of off about the venue. Too large of a room maybe, didn’t sell out, I guess it is what it is when you book a show in the south on Easter weekend.

It’s going to be fun this month to see…

… where Geoff pops up for “Empty Glass” in different clubs across the country. It’ll be better if the venue doesn’t have a balcony.
