If you’re older than 19, what do you wish you had started at my age?

I’m 19, and I saw a quote that hit me hard: lf you only learn from your own mistakes, it’ll take a lifetime. Learn from those who came before you. So I want to hear it raw—no sugarcoating.

  1. What mistakes did you make at 19 that still sting?
  2. What skills, habits, or disciplines do you wish you had started earlier?
  3. How did family, friends, or work shape your path—for better or worse?
  4. What do you regret not doing, and what are you glad you did?

I don’t want generic “work hard, stay positive” advice. I want the brutal truths, the regrets, the lessons you’d drill into someone my age if you could go back.
