How old does that make you feel? I was 16 going on 17 and it changed my life.

Through that time, certain songs became lifelines. Fittingly, they were drenched in emotion and fire: “Definitely. The top two. I would say the both, both Cult songs. One is ‘Fire Woman’ and one is ‘Rain’, which was my old theme music on the indies… I listened to that a lot when I tore my ACL, I made, like an MV [music video] of my year that time… So it always like takes me back to that time, to be honest.”
