Indie Label Market

Just hit up Indie Label Market in King’s Cross (it’s on once a year) and saw that Communion Records had a stall. Went over and managed to pick up all three of these for £30! They said that they recently cleared out an old storage facility of theirs to move to a new one and found a box with some old Catfish pieces. Right chuffed!

For me I think the way Homesick has that ambient fade-in and builds from Van to the full band just pushes it ahead for me. Longshot is very close second, followed by 7.

During his interview with drum wise on YouTube, he mentions catfish a couple times referring to the band as the lads. With him already posting about catfish on his instagram and liking comments about the band coming back. Surely something is happening behind the scenes that we don’t know about.

Twice(wahey) in work yesterday i was told by people who are 18 that catfish have unc status….are the OGs amongst us really that old and decrepit now😨 i still see catfish as a new band. Then again its been about 11 years since i saw them live for the first time….
