Hello everyone, I just started watching the boondocks after seeing lots of clips on TikTok and finally giving into curiosity. After watching the s2 opener I began to wonder if soul plane was actually a real movie, what with the amount of times it’s been lampooned by the show. Even resurrected MLK mentioned it. I’m shocked to learn that it’s actually real? I mean it did release in the year I was born but… I thought it was a made up film that the show used as a placeholder to generally criticise the writing in comedies which prominently feature black actors. Like “airplane” with kareem Abdul-jabbar’s lines and the whole “I speak jive” bit. Or the part in rush hour where Jackie chan says the n word. Or any part of rush hour really. But it’s actually real?? I mean at least it wasn’t a hit or anything but it’s actually real. Anyways, my Scottish ass is now wondering if anyone else thought the same as me when they first watched the show. And the other thing I will say is that a stupid, shallow movie like “soul plane” would never get made today at least. Racism is bad these days with trump and everything but at least there’s that.

I already mentioned this in my other post so about Luna I feel like she was kinda let off the hook by Robert and I know she commited suicide but I think she deserved to go to jail for child abuse and attemped killing and yet they kinda make you sympathize for her with some kinda bullshit excuse for being evil just because you were abused by people in the past doesn’t mean you have to be a dick to Robert

should the booty warrior return or stinkmeaner return I think if they did return if season 5 was made they would team up and try to get revenge on the freemans and huey and riley would need backup like ed wuncler 3 and gin rummy would return but y’all think of my post comment down below

Okay, so I’m trying to find an episode of The Boondocks where grandad says “dat booty” as a joke. For example, Riley would say something like “aw she’s weird, Grandad”, then Grandad would reply like “ain’t nothing weird about.. dat boo-tay”. (This is not an accurate example, I’m sure, I just have a sound bite in my head & I have no clue where it’s from. And yes, I checked the Booty Warrior episode. 😂) Anybody know what I’m talking about?

so I was reading on the boondocks inconsisntly heinous page about the booty warrior and it said that Luna is worse than the booty warrior hell no yes she did do some fucked up stuff but I don’t think it’s fair to compare her to him also she is mentally ill the booty warrior wasn’t but was the wiki right or no comment down below
