Upcoming ‘New Zealand Spy’ TV show has loads of alumni

TVNZ has announced a comedy spy show with many Taskmaster UK and NZ alumni. In addition to photo, other cast members include Abby Howells, Tim Key, Sam Campbell, and more past TM’er participants. It looks like it might be brilliant, and I hope it is aired it elsewhere.

Is this the formula for the perfect series

Season 7 and 19 are my two favs and I think widely considered to be some of the best chemistry between contestants, do you guys think this cast formula makes for the best vibes? What contestants from other series fit into these demographics

I didn’t make this by the way, credit to some person on tumblr lol

In your opinion, which season/episode had the best "And you'll thank me for it!" points comment from Greg?

I know he's done it a few times, regarding points, like so-and-so "will get 1 point and thank me for it!". I know some are funnier than others. Which one is your favorite?

Help me with a recreation

I want to do taskmaster with some of my friends. Me and another friend will take the rolls of alex and greg but i need some fun tasks (can be directly from the show) which don't require tons and tons of non - household props.

I have access to a lot of locations so that wont really be a problem.

What are the best and most fun task to do?

Joel Dommett's James Acaster rap

A month ago I didn't know who this guy was and now I'm head over heels for him, walking around my house singing to myself "but my favorite thing about him is that he's my friend".

Examples of a contestant winning an episode despite having an absolutely terrible attempt at a task?

Currently rewatching S15 and I forgot that Ivo's disastrous breath attempt was in an episode he went on to win. Another that comes to mind is Iain nabbing a victory in the same episode that he broke every single rule in the sand transferring task.

Most underrated (but eclipsed) moments.

Some contestants are heavily associated with one major moment or two - such as Mark Watson's duet, and his high octane pants thievery. For me, his neon taskmaster hat prize (present) is hugely underrated (around 05:00 in the video)- he even used a little trick called paying 400 pounds.

What other contestants do you feel has an underappreciated moment in the shadows of perhaps more discussed shenanigans? Looking for those oft-forgotten gems here.

On which episode did Alex bring in his own assistant?

Been trying to remember that forever and searching the wikis has produced nothing.

Thanks in advance!

Has anyone ever tried sitting on a cake?

Alex did recommend trying it once. And NGL, I bought a cake yesterday, and ate a slice, and it isn't very good. So I was just going to bin it. But it seems a waste.

So I was thinking....

Having never heard of Rosie Jones, we were not sure what to expect when starting Season 18, but not only is she absolutely hilarious, Ep 5 may be my favorite episode of the entire run.

Re-watching S14e2, seeing a legend in the making

"Why are you buying ducks in a pharmacy?"

"Well, where else do you buy 'em?!"

One of my favorite series, and an absolute classic by Dafty in the Middle.
