Found Symphony X via Corridor Crew

G'day. Just a bit of a nothing post, but I wanted to share that I just started my Symphony X discovery and journey this week, after seeing Niko from Corridor wearing a Twilight in Olympus T-shirt (source: The Best and Worst Hollywood Resurrections).
As an adult with AuDHD, I have been successfully falling asleep the past two nights listening to TIO and TDWOT.
Earlier this year I discovered Blind Guardian thanks to a different Niko worn t-shirt.
As I've said before, it doesn't matter how you find good music, as long as you are constantly searching. Now if only I could get some of their earlier LPs at a decent price to Australia.

Symphony x interesting thought

I was thinking if you showed someone their music, maybe they are a more modern listener. Like late 2000s music and on, whatever..they might hear just plain, straight up metal, nothing special and just boring in ways, and I could understand that initial hearing. But what's so cool and interesting about SX sound in having that headspace that is understandable, they aren't, it's incorrect. Because If you really take the time to listen, you go, oh, the riffs are soo good.. Hey, the solos are way better than what I usually hear..dang the vocals are the highest tier actually...and oh shiet, the song writing is actually amazing! Haha. They are so interesting in that they could have that output to a metalhead, and it makes total sense..but man do people need to really give them the chance and discover what's hiding is one of the best bands in general, ever.

Know what I mean? Ha
