Currently painting the Spearhead box

Finished this in 2 months for a tournament at the end of May. Really happy with the look overall. What do you think?

Finished up grove guardian after quite some re-trys. The gold NMM was particularly difficult for me as the shapes of her crown kept messing with my head 🫠

Really happy with the ultimate result, did a little forest stream for her to grow the pods around and I feel like the composition is working well.

Some progress on my diorama I’ve been working on for the past month. Wanted to showcase the teleporting aspect of the Sylvaneth in lore through the trees

If the scythes are made of grass, does that mean the grass is now made of scythes?

No, it doesn’t, but I have six Kuronoths done and a 2k list completed finally. So I got that going for me.

Hi, I only got into 40k a year ago but a friend group of mine also plays AOS (Skaven, Citys of Sigmar, Stormcasters, Ogers, Flesh Eater Courts)

Sylvaneth intresst me the most and as they also play Spearhead and smaller games I was thinking of getting the new and old Spearhead (found both for 80 Euro each) and was thinking of expanding the army from there.

I really love the Kurnoth Hunters Archers and Sword fighters and the Treelord. I also would like to get myself an Alarielle in the future.

This would be my first draft for a 2000 point army. Is it any good?

I also would like to paint them as birch wood or acacia.

still messy, but changed the wings a bit by using a dry brush to get a sort of ombré coloring!

This is my third go on an army. But now i have told my adhd brain to stick with this. I love the trees and I have decided on a fall theme!

I still have some steps to go and The bases to finish. And Then i am going to paint The other 13 trees :P

Went to a fun narrative and decided to do a few conversations with a silly list.

These were fun to paint, I liked doing different colours on the arrow carrying bugs.

My last giant angry doom tree is completed! These guys were all awesome and fun to paint. Again, AOS sculptors know what makes a model cool and paintable.

I’ve seen this particular piece all over the place, and I love the look of it! It is very true to the concept art with a grim dark feel, and that’s exactly what I am looking for. How would yall try to achieve a similar look? Also give the original artist a follow, he has some great stuff!

Lovely model to paint. Lots going on so difficult to turn a muted tone, limited pallet paint style .

After a few games under my belt, spite rider lancers have to be our best unit, right?

They just perform so well every game and take our buffs so well. In my game today they had over 100 skaven clanrat deaths to their name. They dunked a unit, teleported away, then charged again the next turn dumpstering another unit.
