Greatest to never do it?

Prior to this past weekend, Kenny was easily considered to be the greatest rider to never clinch the 450 SX title. Similarly to Dani Pedrosa (for those who follow GP) who is widely considered the best GP rider to never win the title.

Now that Kenny has done it, who would fit this criteria the best?

Did y'all see Webb and Prado have words after the finish?

Prado is one of the nicest, most respectful riders in the paddock, I seriously doubt he instigated anything either on or off the track.

On the other hand, with the whole world rooting for and then celebrating Kenny, I can't begin to imagine what would have sir inferiority complex's pants in a wad 😂

I am curious though if anyone knows anything about it.. what happened, what was said..

Anyone Else Rockin’ Roczen Today?

Kenny deserves this. He has been through hell and back. Countless surgeries. Didn’t he almost lose an arm!?!?

He has 2 AMA Motocross 450 championships BUT this Supercross 450 Championship is what he is missing!

Kenny could be one of the greatest comeback stories of all time.

Also, like my shirt!? 🤷🏽‍♀️😃

Jett Limp

Jett is not going to be anywhere close to himself when he comes back.

guy was limping bigly

Thar said, I had Prado, Tomac, Deegan, Hunter, Chase and a few others as title threats even if he was healthy.

Prado and Hunter probably biggest threats

Hunter Lawrence in a way reminds me of Eli Tomac with his career trajectory

Now disclaimer, this MIGHT be a bit of a reach by me

Hunter had an ok start on 450’s with a moto season where he had many solid rides. Then had a breakout year where he battled with a veteran all year in Supercross, won races and came up just short of the title he should have won due to mistakes.

Tomac (while yes had an incredible 2015 run going before getting injured), has an ok year in 2016 with a solid Moto season. He then followed by a breakout year in Supercross where he won many races, battled with a veteran all year, came up short of the SX title that he shouldve won due to mistakes. He then wins the Motocross title to close that year.

Could we see Hunter snag the Motocross title like Tomac did in 2017 after losing what shouldve been his SX title had it not been for mistakes?

Hunter Lawrence

Am I the only one a little concerned this was his shot as well? Don't get me wrong, I'm ecstatic for Kenny, this was almost undeniably his last shot and I wouldn't be shocked if he's retired next year, he's had a helluva career and is able to go out on top in SX, but I'm a little afraid that Hunter might end up in a similar situation. Between his brother (assuming he gets healthy), Dunceboy, if Sexton cleans it up again, the vulture Cooper Webb still having time left considering his style, and maybe even a wildcard like Prado putting it together (unlikely but possible), its hard to sit here and say "Oh he'll be back".

Even though I'm not particularly a fan of Hunta, I do hope I'm wrong and we get several years of great battles, but with the way sport shakes out I hope he didn't throw his only shot away. Nothing we can do but wait and see, I guess.

Where's the same energy for Hunter tucking the front y'all gave Sexton?

Listen, I'm not the biggest Chase fan. But I'm not a hater. And I really enjoy watching Hunter race. I would have loved for Hunter to win, but I love Kenny just a bit more.

But where's all the hate about him crashing out multiple times? Especially on the biggest stage, bro tucked the front.

Imagine if that was Chase. There would have been a constant flood of posts about him being him.

Keep the same energy. Hunter was in the title fight because he was great and consistent all season long. But he lost it because he crashed multiple times and lost it himself.

Deegan This Year and What Just Happened With Davies

Deegan athe last 2 months. "I just wanted to prove I'm the best 250 racer ever this year". "No one in the class can compete with me". Arguably established it too.

Cole Davies just past that into question.

Supercross final in Vegas ever again?

Apologies if this has been discussed before, but is the final race of the Supercross schedule ever going back to Vegas? I know Sam Boyd is condemned, but is Allegiant/Raiders stadium have a rule or flat out against having the race in their stadium?

*EDITED FOR CLARITY

“I said, ‘You’re just a fast Vince Friese.’” | Cooper Webb on Salt Lake City

Webb v Prado was not the rivalry I was expecting this season.

Coops been quite the whingey boy this season.
