my account was locked after the event and I was never able to get paid for tickets I sold. im out $1500. any advice?

hi,

I sold 2 tickets back in November 2025 for a total of $1500, about a week after the event I tried logging into my account and I was locked out. it wasnt allowing me in. I was confused and unsure what had happened. I contacted StubHub, I was told my account is under investigation. since then, I tried contacting them multiple times and was told the same thing - my account is being investigated and I have to wait, I tried filing a complaint through BBB which was now resolved as "buyer unsatisfied". I tried contacting my state attorney general and am waiting on a reply, it's been months.

I have email proof of selling the tickets, me transferring them through Ticketmaster, and the buyer accepted them. I even contacted the buyer about this and they said they can send me any screenshots or documentation id need if I agree to give them "50% of any settlement money".

I genuinely don't know what to do at this point. the event was over 6 months ago at this point.

I live in New York if that matters

Ticket resellers - will pay $45 for 30 min feedback on inventory management

Hey everyone,

I'm doing research on ticket reselling workflows and inventory management. Looking to chat with people who currently resell tickets (casual or professional) about their process.

What I want to learn:

  • How you currently manage inventory across platforms
  • Pain points with existing tools
  • What would make your workflow easier

$45 compensation for 30 minutes (Venmo/PayPal/Zelle). Not selling anything - just genuinely trying to understand how this works.

Comment or DM if you're interested. Thanks!

StubHub Alternatives

With all the frustrated posts in this sub I thought I'd take a second to list alternatives that I've found helpful and across what demographics:

  • AXS - Official partner to a lot of venues so customer support may be better if you experience an issue. More popular when folks are looking for concert tickets over sports.
  • CrowdVolt - Social driven and often targets a younger audience. Major player in the music and dj scene at venues in New York.
  • SeatGeek - Their smart pricing AI tool is helpful and a lot of fans who are looking for sporting events come here over others.
  • SuiteHop - They only list premium inventory. So if you have a suite, shared suite, box, or seats that come with access to a club or all-inclusive space this is your site.
  • TicketSwap - They cap re-sale markups which has built a lot of trust on the buyer side, knowing they're not getting swindled. Found it to be super popular for festivals.

Hope this helps!

My listing stopped showing after a few days

Has this happened to anyone? If so, what did you do?
I listed a ticket last week and everything was fine. It showed on the concert’s ticket listing and on the map, but it suddenly stopped showing yesterday.
All my ticket info is correct and already transferred.
I really need to sell my ticket but how if StubHub won’t show it to the buyers 🤦🏻‍♀️

I sold three BTS tix on stubhub but beforehand I chatted with them about getting the payout after the sale so I don’t get scammed. they assured me that I’ll get it after the eale went thru but instead now I’m getting their policy quotes by email. they have no proof of my chat either. this event is $915 and is in August. how can I trust I’ll get paid?
