A kind lady gave us a small pack of treats, so we shared them with our stray kitties. ❤️
I treated this lady to some chicken breast.
She happily accepted the treat, allowed herself to be petted and rubbed against my hand.
This is Max (short for Maksym). Taking a normal photo of him is basically an extreme sport, as he is always on the move. 😁
Max is a very vocal, possessive, brave, and jealous boy, and he isn’t afraid to show it! I love his personality. 💗
He often got into fights, so we ended up removing his trouble puffs. And guess what? He hasn’t calmed down one bit!
He came to us completely unexpectedly a few years ago. He had owners, a Ukrainian family with children who ended up in our country in search of a better life.
They noticed we were feeding the cats daily, and we occasionally exchanged a few words with them. They were always full of praise for us and genuinely kind people.
Then one day, we found out they had moved again for personal reasons, and they left Maksym with us. If they ever come across this post, I would like to thank them for their trust and hope that life treats them well.
She’s a little purring machine and one of the gentlest cats I’ve ever met. 🩷
Just a regular day with our stray voids Ginnie and Ekeke. 💕
This is Honey. She came back recently after we hadn’t seen her for a year. I’m really glad she seems okay and hasn’t forgotten us. 🥰
Campus cat
My campus cats are so friendly they would sit next to anyone and start purring
She survived against all odds and every statistic. 🧡
I am usually not the person who complains a lot, but in the past month life has pushed us into a corner.
One of the new cats at our feeding spot was mauled alive by a dog. That was probably the worst thing I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot. The second cat was run over by a car. She was still warm when we found her.
On top of that, 3 cats who have been with us since the beginning (for the past 6 years) are currently in temporary accommodation where they cannot stay for much longer, and their health has started to deteriorate more quickly in recent weeks. We are urgently trying to figure something out, but we have run out of options.
We have also recently noticed 2 pregnant feral cats at the site, and at this point we honestly do not know how we will manage to help and protect the upcoming kittens.
In all of that chaos we managed to return 2 house cats to their owners after they got lost. One situation was truly accidental and the owners were on the verge of tears when reunited with their cat, but in the other case the owner was even too lazy to come and get his own cat. He did not even say thank you.
I am at my wits’ end.
We are fighting the hardest battle of our lives
Hi everyone!
Sorry for the inactivity on this sub over the past 2 days.
We are currently fighting one of the hardest battles of our lives. A battle against a hoarder and animal abuser that no one has been able to stop for years.
A battle against people so cruel that, if the full truth ever came out, the world would probably be in shock.
At this point, we are directing all our energy toward every possible legal avenue to try to stop the suffering of many animals once and for all.
We will share more details about the full situation in the coming days when we are able to.
For now, send us your positive energy. We truly need it. 🐾💞
