Stray & An Old Friend
Stray really does a good job with the storyline & cutscenes, but this one especially got to me.

It looks like an easter egg but I couldn't find anything on it. Not sure how to decode it but it looks like when you open compressed files in notepad or something
The translations for the posters and stuff never match with the code/language/writing, attached is Clementine's wanted poster as an example (I will put the translation for it below), and the code key.
Clementine's poster's translation:

I was replaying stray for like the 5 time now but I noticed a random red dot above the prison. Any ideas what it is?
So we got introduced to B-12 by following some flashing lights that he was controlling. And just before he died,he told us that his drone body wouldnt be able to handle all that,so the chances are that HIS BODY died, not he himself. And the ultimate proof is the ending:Flashing lights once again on a panel on the left side of the screen.
This new place in Huntsville Alabama opened up called "Dragon alley", might be one of my new favorite places (food and service is pretty great too!). Such heavy Stray vibes, I should bring my companion cosplay here.
Picture 2 is another dining room, not so much Stray vibes, but I do like it a lot.
If you're in the north Alabama area, highly recommend checking it out (next weekend is our big nerd convention too, Pop Culture Expo).
I have a question don’t know if someone already asked or thought of that but why isnt there a cozy farming sim in like a cyberpunk version i would really love to see something like stray but farming having a base and scouting for trash to trade for money upgrading tools and so on im really tired of the anime farming games i really want some dark cyberpunk stuff
I've played through Stray two times now, but I've played several individual chapters even more times (to pick up various badges). Every time I find something new. Then, last night, feeling some Stray withdrawal but not quite up to starting a new save, I watched a playthrough video that revealed yet another detail that I'd totally missed.
In Dead City, if Stray meows at one of the security cameras, it will actually bob up and down in return. I can't believe I missed that reaction! It's such an endearing foreshadowing of B-12 waiting up ahead.
Now I'm wondering how many other small nuggets of delight I haven't found yet.
so this avoid the sentinels run is making me want to throw my switch
but i want to get this furry guy and his robot to where they need to go
but why can’t we have a checkpoint or two along the way 😭
In the first opening cutscene, the orange cat jumps on the broken pipe, falls, and clings on to the edge of a cliff. I immediately had to pause the game and burst into tears. This was my second attempt and I can’t get through it.
I downloaded stray to play on my steam deck recently and I’m at the start of the dead end chapter just after you enter the sewers to find doc but I’ve come across a bug after seamus opens the door for you & I don’t seem to be able to go further because the map lags out, I’m not sure if this is just because I’m using steam deck or ?? is it due to graphics or something or am I stupid ??
(update: I managed to fix it and it was due to the graphics settings 😭😭)
