BREAKING I Sharks ask URC to investigate Hooker incident in match against Ospreys

Whether right or wrong, the sharks have moved to request an investigation.

I can understand that but I have to say players that make themselves guilty of this, should not be selected. For any professional team.

Ethan Hooker Outrage

Not sure why my previous post was removed by moderators ?

For eveyone whining about Hooker incident, KLA did exactly the same thing even after the ball was grounded, and naturally there was not a mention of it.

No outrage against world rugby and hatred towards a player, nothing.

So why now ? because it's a South African player ?

If your calling the one over the weekend a dog shot, I'd like to know what this was

Anyone else super gutted about Ethan Hooker’s injury

JP announced Ethan has a dislocated shoulder. What pisses me off most is the fact that his injury was caused by a totally reckless and unnecessary tackle. If the injury was attributed to an unfortunate but natural occurrence, I’d find it easier to swallow. However, this incident was an absolute bummer. I just hope his shoulder wouldn’t hinder him when he returns from recovery.

Historic Hong Kong SVNS 2026

The Blitzboks win their first ever HK title and set the perfect foundation to retain the World Championship. Well done to Spain and Kenya for some excellent play, and to Argentina for a great final. This Blitzbok team is something very special.

Unfortunately the Springbok Women faired less well, ending 12th on the log. Considering all the injuries and the loss of team cohesion built up over SVNS 3 & 2, it was still a great accomplishment to get a convincing win over GBR. The youngsters will have learnt a lot and I'm sure the team will grow from this. We go again in Valladolid at the end of May. 💚💛

Late shots occurrence on the increase

That terrible late shot on Hooker last night pissed a lot of people off but it is something that has been cropping up more of late. There are a number of SA players that will also do this type of shit. All of this bleeds down and you see this more at school boy level. This attempt at a face gouge for instance. I hope the coach if this kid saw it and kicks him off the team for a while (but probably not). This kid tried to injure the other player, no other reason for it. Just like the divebomb on Hooker last night. The attempt was to injure. Nothing else.

Can somebody tell me something. Would it be allowed to say have a normal scrum front row, but then also put another 2 props behind them instead of 2 recognised locks.

Ie. Replace Eban and Ruan, just before halftime with the 2 props off the bench. Then after a few minutes in second half take the first half props off, bring on the rest of bomb squad, and everything else continues as normal. If it were technically possible, it could possibly out scrum any other team, even if they were also running a bomb squad.

John Dobson has got to go

Its time. I’m tired of this team’s inconsistency, I’m tired of the lack of structure and most of all I am sick to death of the bad selections. Why is the best fullback in the world forced to play wing to make space for a clown? How many times is Gelant going to cost us? How many tackles is Zas going to miss before the coach drops him? Cape Town is the hotbed of coloured rugby. I refuse to believe Zas is close to being the best wing in this whole damn province. When are we going to put the old players to pasture? Ntubeni should have retired 10 years ago. Dobson wiped his ass with this game giving this guy some final swansong. Most of all I’m sick of bald head always smiling after every game like it’s ok. Get this palooka outta here.

Should South African teams return to Super Rugby and revive the Super 14 format?

With Moana Pasifika folding, Super Rugby is expected to stay at 10 teams for now, but the idea of expansion seems with at least the cheetahs pushing to join the competition.

Given the Cheetahs have been persistent in trying to get themselves back into a top-level competition, would you support bringing in South African provincial teams like the Cheetahs, Boland, Griquas, or Pumas if Super Rugby ever expands again?

Or is keeping it at 10 the right move, even if it means the iconic Super 14 format could make a comeback in some form?

Cheslin Kolbe is proof that size doesn't matter in rugby. At 5ft7 and 75kg, the Springbok winger punches well above his weight

Home XV vs Abroad XV

Would like to think they'd be 2 teams of similar strength. Nice to see how they stack up against each other.

Would like to see your picks.
