Back when I was obsessed and had the time and skills to make my own

Decluttering and found some tops I made years ago. Stainless steel and aluminum. Used to work in a machine shop and made them on a CNC. Did a couple manually as well.

Couldn’t find my favorite ones. They were a combination of stainless and bronze and copper and stainless or aluminum I believe, were absolutely gorgeous. If I find them, I’ll make another post. I think I got some videos of me using them on the spin plate I made as well.

Went back a forth with what grip would be best on the stem— best options were machined knurling, heat shrink, or a carbide coating (was very nice contrast when done right)

I’m glad there’s a page for these so I could add my slice of happiness to the community

New tops!

Was able to get a few grails recently. I really wanted the K2 and Vanguard. Was lucky enough to get a few more to my collection.

“Back when I was obsessed” Pt. 2

Copper weight, stainless stem with machined knurling. I think the best spin time I had with any of the ones I made was a little over 5 minutes. I was still happy with them though.
