Hello! Looking for some help, I don’t know anything about engine repair. I got this mower from an old friend, it’s a very old B&G engine. To say the least, the mower is a mess with almost every cable broken. I changed the carb, but not I don’t know where the springs and throttle cable go (it only had one spring, which is the grimy looking one). I was able to start it with starting fluid, but now I need to replace the throttle cable and I don’t know where to fix it to, and the other newer looking spring.

Anyone can guide me? And again, I know nothing about engines so have mercy if some of these are basic questions.

The last item I posted that looked like a shower head turned out to be an old muffler for an Allis Chalmers Tractor.

This is a 3” brass or bronze piece that threads onto some type of machine I’m guessing.

Any clue on this?

I bought this on fbm, it came with a minibike. All I know is that it is 212cc and has a governor delete apparently. Can anyone figure out the brand or if it’s hemi or non-hemi? Thanks.

It’s in a go kart and the frame is in the way. Couldn’t find any curved intake manifolds that work really.

Should I just mount the engine an inch higher with a riser? Will it need a different belt length if I do that?

Sorry if the questions are dumb, I’m a noob.

Mower sat for a couple months and won’t start. Changed gas, spark plug, air filter, cleaned carb, still nothing. Any suggestions?
