A quick history on six on Broadway
So if you are a long time six you know that it started on the west end. When it came over to be brought over to America, the biggest argument was with the actors use British accents. But the creators who created the show, Lucy and Toby decided that wasn’t necessary to tell the stories of these queens, and I agree to me I think more people would’ve been offended with them trying to do a British accent. So they started in Chicago where they held auditions and that was the beginning of their tour before Broadway. They did a whole mini like Chicago sit down then they went to Boston, Edmonton and then down to Minnesota as last stop.

They took off until January started on Broadway in January. This was 2020 so pre-pandemic. And after that, they were on Broadway for like I think a month of previews before the world went dark from Covid so then they stopped, Then got the rest so they canceled opening night and then moved to 2021 is when they be opened in October to a great opening and then they went to the Tony’s also in 2022. they won I think two Tonys. They got to perform at the Tonys. At the Tonys the original principal cast member for Jane Seymour got sick Abby Mueller so the day of they brought in a swing Mallory Maedke to cover who and she got a shout out on TV at the Tony’s for that. Also doing their time i’m by with it with the original cast of six the musical they got their theater name changed. To the first ever black woman to have a theater named after her.

Also doing that time with the Original Broadway Cast they had five Parr they had the OG Parr then they had the second person come in joy for like three months then before the final Parr came the swings just kept switching back-and-forth for like I think like four months and then finally they hit the final Parr. They couldn’t keep power down Parr wanted to go off and write her books. Lastly, doing that one year on Broadway for the original cast they had I think a lot of different cash changes.

The first cast change was the OG queen number six she ended her contract March 13 so she was only there as parr of the cast four months. Abby Mueller was on medical leave so they had a new Seymour join Keri Fuller and she took up the role after Abby officially left. And then August 7, the OG Aragon and Seymour left and then finally at the very end December 4 was when everybody left.
I can tell you from watching a lot of the OG Catherine Howard‘s lives that she didn’t wanna leave neither did the OG Cleves or the OG Boleyn. They wanted to stay on but Six kick them out the door so just think of that pretty harsh.

Well wrap up to say is that the final performance on December 4 was amazing so many opt ups for a lot of the queens and had very cool decisions were made on that day. That show I think took two hours because after every queen went, there was a standing ovation. They will always be one of my flexes is that I saw the OG cast I think four times before they left to go do other shows. I guess my final thing would be that to me. I know all the six cast look pretty close, but I would say this one and the OG West End cast are two of the most close groups in my opinion.

Hi all!

I’ve decided I want to do Katherine Howard as my Halloween costume but DIY it and make it my own! I’ve already bought some pieces and my friend is going to bedazzle my heeled boots but the one thing I’m struggling with is the choker, specifically the letter.

I have the black choker already but I’m struggling with the K letter. I was considering buying a keychain initial and having my friend bedazzle it as well.

I did find some on Etsy from $60 and upwards but as someone in a fixed income, I can’t justify spending my check on something already premade that will cost my entire check when I can just DIY it.

Any recommendations?

Hungarian SIX

UPDATE: IT WAS AMAZING. I loved it so much, the translation was good, but there was some cringe part... but I can accept it😄😄

I don't know if it OK to post here this, but I think it would be interest to show you our hungarian ex-wives. The styles is kinda different from the original one.

I haven't seen it yet, but right now I'm on the train, going to Madách Theatre, where I can watch it finally. 😍

Tbh I am afraid of the hungarian translation because I was listening to the original songs on repeate in the last few week, so yeah... but i can't wait.

Why is SIX apparently featured on a random rap song on Spotify?

I went to the artist page to find the OG album and I discovered SIX is also featured on a random explicit rap song? I listened to it and couldn't find a sample in it or anything. Is this just a weird glitch from Spotify or some lore I'm not aware of?
