Nostalgia lang kasi nung ni launch to, nasa college ako at dahil weekly lang ako umuwi (nagdodorm) I asked my mother na sana bili nya ako nyan pag-uwi ko. Ayun pag-uwi ko meron nga ako nyan. Pero, mahigit doble ata nyan ang size! Kaya sobrang gulat ko pag abot nyan sa akin kanina hahaha ilang dekada din siguro akong di umorder nyan 🙂

My reading date this weekend

Going to read some short stories by Ursula K. Le Guine this weekend. To get me in the mood, I have this quote from her acceptance speech during the (American) National Book Awards in 2014:

“Books aren’t just commodities; the profit motive is often in conflict with the aims of art. We live in capitalism, its power seems inescapable — but then, so did the divine right of kings. Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings. Resistance and change often begin in art.”
