The kind of touch that makes you forget you’re supposed to “finish”

Slow. Deliberate. Two fingers gliding with feather-light pressure, staying exactly where the sensation blooms brightest. No rush. No agenda. Just presence that makes every nerve sing.

My tantra training showed me that the plateau is where the magic happens — not the quick dip into climax. Couples tell me it feels like their bodies finally remember how to make love instead of just having sex.

If you relate to wanting more depth, more electricity, more of that “I can’t believe this is allowed” feeling… you’re not alone.

The erotic power of not rushing

Most people chase the peak. A few learn to live on the plateau — where every breath, every stroke, every shared glance feels like pure sex without the crash.

That sustained state changes everything: more desire, more creativity, more love.

If you’re ready to explore this with your partner in a private, judgment-free way, I’m here.

Choreo vs Improv

I keep saying I am "about to" take a pole choreo class but I never do. It's easier for me to improv. What about you? What's more accessible to you as a dancer - a routine that's choreographed and taught to you or a flow that you come up with in the moment?

What kinds of things make improv/choreo easier/harder for you? I am naturally big on pushing boundaries and ignoring rules as much as possible, so mentally choreo feels limiting. I enjoy coming up with stuff myself... do you think I am missing out on opportunities or skills because of that?

I'd like to know what our community thinks about the relative importance of these ways of approaching dance.

I kind of stopped thinking about this topic because dancewear is so cut-and-paste. No matter what style we do, there's a cultural standard of what to wear and there's some dancewear makers that sell it to us. Today I felt a tiny bit better about buying some new dance fits because I bought them from a local small business owner, who is also a woman and an immigrant. If I have to buy stuff that's not good for the environment and usually winds up washed up on the shore of another country or lost at sea as nonbiodegradable waste...all I can do is be thoughtful about where I get it from. It's not the end of the world to buy something off of amazon or shein, but if I can get it from a human being that I can stand face to face with and that's actually part of my community...that makes a difference.

In exotic pole dancing there's so much synthetic material plus things are not made to last and the culture pushes us to get new fits instead of wear out ones we already have.

Do you have issues with the sustainability or accessibility of your dance fits? How long do you wait to buy new dancewear? Does it matter to you where or how you get your dancewear from?
