I really want to incorporate SL a bit more into my life, but I just can't justify it when everytime I log on wanting to talk to people I'm left disappointed. When I say active I mean people actually talking to one another either in chat or preferably on voice. I crave a social group of the game and I haven't reallt found that in my many years on SL sadly.
I'm not a power user. I hang out in SL, shop, play games, chat, rarely go to clubs. Due to many different, circumstances I need to use a laptop. My budget is very limited at the moment; I do have some Best Buy gift cards, so that's where I'm shopping! I absolutely cannot go over $800.
I've found one I can afford, but I'd love an opinion on it's functionality for Second Life before I pull the trigger. While I know there are a bunch of tattoo stores in general my main problem is that they don't offer demos most of the time and I hate buying stuff "blind", you can never really know how it looks on your avi til' you try it on and more often than not it ends up not being what you were looking for...

Normally I don't wear any pixel tattoos but now I am searching for one. Is there a good shop that makes little tattoos, maybe even custom ones?
I am searching for a small sun, preferable on the chest (near the heart), stomach or ankle. Most I found on marketplace are around the belly button or on the shoulder. If you know a good creator for this that could put the letter M in the sun that would make my day. It's a tattoo that has a meaning for me in RL.

I ended up closing my weekend doing a bit of a club crawl, just bouncing around until it felt like a good place to land. One of the stops really stuck with me.. It’s got space without feeling empty, the music is good, and the bar actually feels like a bar instead of just decor. Small thing, but it changes the whole vibe.
Also, and I’m trying to say this responsibly, the place is consistently… well stocked. Just a suspicious number of good-looking people in one room. Draw your own conclusions.

Hi, since longer time when I take some photos especially from distance in some backdrop or skyboxes I have such a issue like blurred brows, eyes, lashes, even clothes but I have set on ultra quality so I don’t know why it happens. In another places photos are really good but the problem happens sometimes and still idk what’s the reason. How to repair it and what a settings would be cool for it?

Recently returned to SL several months ago. Trying to make friend. I met a guy who seemed super cool and also newly returning to SL. After just being friends about 3 weeks and only hanging out 3x, he asked me ( in voice), if I could western union money to his sister to help pay for a medical condition. I politely declined and he left and removed me as a friend lol.
He said he is asking other friends too and put a donation box somewhere.
How can people feel so entitled!? And to get mad when refused too is even more shocking to me. Appalling to me. I work two jobs to support to support the lifestyle I enjoy. Does this happen to you guys?!
