How have you managed a gap in move-in dates of apartments (near or in U-district)?

I and a few other roommates are currently looking at apartments, and found one that is pretty much perfect for us. We only have one problem - the move-in date is about 2 weeks after our current lease ends. The new place won't allow moving in early, and while we are in the process of asking for an exception with our current location, they are highly unlikely to offer an extension.

All of us can find a place to stay, so the problem is how/where to store our belongings.

What resources are local to this area, or what suggestions would you have for managing a gap in leases?

Looking for a realtor, moving to Seattle end of May

Hello! I'll be moving with my boyfriend to Seattle at the end of May and we are looking for a realtor. The one we have been in touch with has not been the most helpful and has a very small rentals database, and he's basically told us that we have to do the search ourselves. We have a really good idea of what we want, and we've been in touch with buildings and property management companies, but having a little guidance is always good, and we want that off market database badly.

Do you have any realtors that will help us find no fee apartments or be able to guide us some more? I can always do the independent search on Zillow and Apts.com but there's a lot of junk to dig through there, that's why we would like some help.

Thanks!

I have been searching for months but really struggling to find anything good. I am okay with a studio but really need a stove. I’d prefer a one bedroom. I don’t really care where in Seattle, but I work close to University village and spend most of my time in Fremont. Thank you for any help in advance!

420k, fully fenced yard, many updates. Bus on the corner to ferry. We did the seattle to bremerton move from ballard and now it’s time for more space. Hoping someone in seattle might also be looking for a first home/affordable home with some nature around. Link to zillow listing here.
