Advice for refund.

I contacted my bank (chase checking account) and made a claim about my ticket. I did the payment plan starting in August and made a payment each month through January. They gave me my money back for the first 3 payments (August September October) but denied my last 3 (November December January) basically told me im SOL. Is there nothing further I can do about this?

Where is everyone (and the artists on the lineup) going?

Trying to figure out what to do with my weekend now. As i wrestle with getting this disaster refunded, I've been like the idea of possibly seeing some the lineup at a smaller show. I saw that friendly valley tavern picked up a few artists off the lineup, but does anyone know of any others? (Big G? Maddy? INZO?)

I know a lot of people are doing force fields instead. I would but im already going to gridlife in michigan the week after. I seriously hope force fields replaces scamp memorial day weekend next year

Summer Camp / Peoria Heritage Festival

With Summer Camp being cancelled, I wonder what the odds of The Peoria Blues And Heritage Festival going the same way. They’re both Goldberg Productions and it doesn’t seem like things have been going well for them. If it wasn’t for Govt Mule, I would have never gone last year.

Well, now that it’s over… I need the tea 🍵

SOMEONE has to know how many tickets were actually sold & how many artists actually received any form of upfront payment. I’m so curious to know what was going on behind the scenes & the numbers. Spill the tea!

Glad They Cancelled, Three Sisters Park Needs a Replacement

NOT happy for those who still wanted to go. I love SCAMP, but regardless of the will of some to push forward it was unsafe, lackluster, and likely to cause a ton of issues.

I am happy that the festival owners are being held accountable for their failures. I understand festival logistics are a NIGHTMARE. But at the end of the day, to barely communicate, shame people for criticism, underdeliver and overpromise, lose the support of many vendors, fail to obtain proper licenses due to safety concerns, and fail to produce ANYTHING resembling a solid festival, I don't feel sorry for them.

The right thing was to cancel months ago when they couldn't pull it together. Now they are doing it only because they have to.

I REALLY hope we get a new EDM/Jam fest at Three Sisters Park in the future. Not run by Ian Goldberg EVER again. SCAMP is dead under his leadership. Maybe we can get something smaller-scale or with a wider audience. The venue is beautiful, and it would be a shame if it were only used for country and rock fests in the future.

Goodbye SCAMP (god if we get refunds it will be a miracle)

Hearing it’s canceled!

Heard from a reliable source that SCAMP is CANCELLED! Not sure when they are going official but it’s not happening. It’s done is what I am being told. Hope all that are invested get their money back. I’m sorry for all the folks emotionally invested in this festival. Ian has run it all into the ground.

Summer Camp Memorial Memories Thread

My first scamp experience was in 2013 ended up going to Spring Awakening in '12 wasn't really my cup of tea, having to leave the venue at 10p and wander the city of Chicago to find my afters/hotel.

Next year my friends and I tried Scamp, and I new little to nothing about camping fests. That first time of wait I have to haul all my stuff into the venue? Sit in a huge line while waiting to get in making friends(unbeknownst to me at the time new family) baking in the unforgiving sun.

Got there a bit late so we ended up in the big field.

The variety of the acts and various genres of music were amazing! Wandering the multiple vendors and making new connections all throughout the venue. Riding the tractor between sets and watching some guy go wook fishing off the back of it priceless!

The next year was even better went with my fiancee to introduce her. Seeing GODBONER on way to many Mushies, life changing.

Then next year being a volunteer, even better experience.

Took a break after that and went back post covid in August was a rough one(the summer heat was bleh)

And many more memories too share.
