Hi!

I see a lot of people saying it’s bc of them losing stocks or because of investors but I think there’s a larger reason.

The Original rename (Games to experiences) was tied to the Apple/Epic lawsuit, and the reversal now likely reflects that legal pressure has eased.

Why “experiences” happened in the first place (2021):

During the Epic v. Apple trial, Apple argued that Roblox is a singular game and that user created content within it are “experiences,” comparable to individual worlds within Minecraft. Roblox immediately rebranded games to experiences to stay on Apple’s good side.

Roblox is being quiet about the reason why they’re backtracking but the Epic v. Apple case has largely resolved, with courts ruling against Apple. So there’s no reason for them to use the stupid name anymore. This also doubles as them getting free praise for doing nothing.

TL;DR it had little to do with Roblox going corporate and more to do with Roblox covering their A-holes from Apple. Now that Apple basically lost Roblox is calling games GAMES again

I am so tired of seeing the 400th karma whoring post about an update they do not really care about and would forget was ever a thing minutes later as they move on to the next big thing to be outraged and karma farm.

It's just getting saturated and tiresome at this point. Not to mention the LEAPS made that "Roblox is cooked" for the millionth time this week.

And also the growing conspiratorial aspects on many where they plant motives to Roblox as an entity based purely on vibes.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels like this. Posts like these just keeps getting ###### for whatever reason.

The only thing I can remember is that the lobby was a cabin and when the round would start, thunder would crack, and all the lights would go out. There was a bunch of different killers, and the survivors had a bunch of different abilities, like upgrading their light, I think, and some sort of radar. I also remember you could get that one Christmas light hat as an accessory. Does anyone remember this??
