General contractor recommendations?
Hello! Recently moved to the area and have been trying to sort through different contractors to get some work done on our house. We have a variety of work that falls into the “more than a handy man can do, but not a massive project” camp.
We’re having a really hard time finding a good GC firm that will give us fair pricing and not way over scope what we show them. The three firms we’ve had out so far to look at the work always seem to over scope what we ask them to do. I’m not sure if this is because they consider themselves too big to take on small/medium sized projects, but it’s consistently happened.
Does anyone have a good experience with a local to Ridgefield or Danbury based company for work like this? An idea of the stuff we’re looking to do is (separate projects): outdoor deck build, bathroom renovation, siding replacement, stonework repointing, etc.
