Coloring
Hello VJs!
How do you handle coloring in resolume? I really like the recolor effect but I find the fixed palettes on it not usable in a live context when you want to subtly change colors. Therefore, I started building a plugin where you set a fixed base color and from that you have a slider that will build a palette going from analogous colors to complementary ones. I also expemeimented with a plugin where you can chose the colors in the palette and works as the recolor effect.
Hue rotate is also very useful but when I reach colours that are not perceived as bright (such as blues) i feel that my composition falls apart, and the opposite happens with green. (Helmholtz-Kohlrausch effect). I also did a hue rotate plugin that will account for this that works nice.
Do you guys have the same issues as me? Or maybe different ones? Would you find the plugins I created useful or you use other tools? Let’s chat!
