Has anyone ever traveled back in time?
I know I shifted and I’m lowkey proud of myself
I’ve been trying to shift for a 2 years now. I have don’t mini shifts. But I just made my full shift to a similar CR. How I know is my best friend’s death date is on different date… I’m getting closer to getting him back I can feel it.
Is it okay to read fanfiction about your s/o?
hello guys, just a quick question. is it okay to read fanfictions related to your s/o?? does it stunt your shifting journey in a way?? i've been obsessed with fanfiction since then and it gives me sense of emotions like feeling hyped or thrilled because duh it's my s/o and a self insert interacting in a ff 😆 (as a maladaptive daydreamer, ik some of u guys get it)
i kind of seen a video of a shifter in tiktok talking about avoid using ca.i or generating fanfictions from chatgpt. idk if it's just because they're encouraging us not to use ai or something.
well this is getting confusing but my general question is: Is it okay to read fanfiction about your s/o while attempting to shift to that specific universe? hehe thank u for ur answers.
People lying about shifting and Where is everyone?
People lying about shifting and Where is everyone?

**(TW: This post contains questions and discussions that may feel demotivating or discouraging to some people.)**
I've been in this community since, 2022-2023. As far as I can remember. During Covid, Reality shifting was a famous trend that lots of creators hopped into. I was previously in amino, and I saw lots of success stories in amino, reddit, discord, and youtube altogether. I saw thousands (probably) of success stories on shifting to different platforms. It's been about 5 years, and the people who are still trying to shift have significantly reduced. My question is, where are these people? People claimed that, they had shifted to blah blah blah DR but somehow I don't see these people still persisting in that practice, which is really weird to me.
Also, please don't try to give an excuse of "Oh they must be focusing on their CR!! Blah blah blah".
This just doesn't seem to be the case anymore, how come so many people claimed that we shifted to a completely different universe and dipped, no explanation and no persistence in that practice.
How are we so sure that this isn't some mass lying phenomenon.
It’s kinda funny how some of the biggest shifting success stories just vanished into thin air. Like you’re telling me you shifted to your DR, prob Hogwarts or some shit, and then never came tried to shift again? These people would post the most detailed experiences ever, gain a huge following, and then suddenly they don't even mention shifting?
And the crazy part is, whenever someone questions whether shifting is actually real or not.
They immediately get hit with the same “just try it and see for yourself” type of advice.
So in the end, my question still remains:
Where is everyone ?
This is not here to discredit shifting, but to ask a very trivial question about the legitimacy of success stories?
How does the void state feels to me? What lucid dream method I use???
To me, the void state feels like nothing.
Literally nothing, you don't feel your body, but when you're entering the void state you feel heavy, the you dont feel anything and its just your mind
That stage when you're asleep but awake (aware is when you're entering the void, what I do is keep breathing, affirming, focus on something else that is not "ok i am awake but asleep," you know what I mean?? And i distract myself with affirmations or breathing but I keep in mind not to fall asleep, my brain is multi tasking,
And to have a lucid dreams what I do Is that I create my own subliminal and method.
Here Is step by step.:
My method:
To give u some context, I go to scream reality.
- First,I record the sound of an air conditioner as background noise (which could be white noise).
This sets the mood for my method of waking up in my Scream reality.
Add cricket sounds (because I wake up at night).
Make an audio recording of simple affirmations (not more than 10) like, "My consciousness is aware of my Scream reality, I am already in my Scream reality." Always speak in the present or past tense. Also, I don't use the phrase "desired reality" because it's not a wish/desire, it's a fact.
I record this audio in my own whispered voice and place it over the white noise and cricket noise.
I Add Billy Loomis's voice in the distance. This helps me visualize not with images, but with sounds. I recommend adding the voice 7 minutes later so that those 7 minutes before the voice appears and keeps your consciousness awake allows you to meditate and relax.
After listening to Billy Loomis's voice as if he were speaking to me, 3 or 4 minutes later I added the sound of a ringing phone, you know, the phone sound from Scream, and I also added Scream's voice. I begin visualizing with sounds.
I put all of this together into a long audio track, something I can listen to all night. You can make your audio 20 minutes long and just loop it.
My method: After visualizing with sounds, keeping in mind that I try to keep my mind black (not white, black), I visualize only a phone ringing (with the help of the audio noise) and I visualize my hands answering that call. Little by little, I add things. If you noticed (in the visualization), first I added the phone, then my hands answering, and so on, adding small things.
Don't react. I know this can be difficult, but don't react to stimuli. If you feel things like tingling, a breeze, or that you're falling, ignore it as best you can. And when you feel or believe you're back in your reality, don't get excited. Stay neutral, act as if it's normal, because it is. You belong to that reality. Always maintain that mindset.
To stay in the lucid dream:
• Look at your hands
• Touch something nearby
• Focus on a sound. This anchors you
The reason I'm posting this is because I've been in this shifting community for 6 years, and in my 6 years this is what has helped me the most.
Also, you don't need to follow step by step what I just said, the point is that it has to be natural, the reason why we constantly say that shifting is a personal process is for this reason, because you have to do it your way, how you feel comfortable, if you try this method add what you feel comfortable with, what you think is necessary. without it feeling like an obligation
Pls if you try this or need more explanation let me know and I can totally help u ♡
Can we keep marks when we shift?
When we shift, if in the universe we shifted to we receive a seal, a mark,(like ,if a person mark us) a scar, or something similar, do we keep that mark when we return here to our world? As proof that we truly shifted and it wasn't a dream? Or does it disappear?
Being a shifter is basically just being the MC of an Isekai anime ࿔‧ ֶָ֢˚˖𐦍˖˚ֶָ֢ ‧࿔
Isekai (n). Japanese translation (異世界): "different world" - a genre of anime where a character ends up in a world entirely different from their original one.
I have been to other realities before, and I only recently realized how much the concept of reality shifting is akin to the concept of an Isakai anime.
Basically, by shifting we’re just participating in an Isakai anime
(Also, just as a fun little way to push the limits of your brain a little bit - How do you know that you’re not in anime right now because if every reality and every media we consume is a type of reality on their own, for example Harry Potter, My Hero Academia, The Walking Dead, etc., if all of those are actually realities in their own rights, then a lot of the animes we’ve seen are also realities in their own rights and maybe we’re actually in an anime and it’s just hyper realistic for us)
*I just like to theorize and allow my brain to think anything and everything which is another way that I was able to reprogram my brain for shifting. Being open to literally any and every possibility.
Anyways, I just wanted to start a fun little discussion about how reality shifting is like an isekai anime and basically when we shift, we are the main character of an isekai anime.
I think the main difference is that usually, the main character of the Isekai doesn’t mean to go there whereas a lot of us intend to go to that specific reality or world through shifting (although there have been many times where I have accidentally shifted somewhere I didn’t want to be, and that felt very much like an Isekai, but in the worst way possible. I had been to an awful set of realities, I can remember at least five that were insane and even if someone paid me $14 trillion in our earth money I would not go back there).
So I just thought it was a really interesting thought and I was curious what you guys think about the similarities between shifting and isekai anime or shifting and anime in general.
I’ve always been a really huge anime fan and after opening my brain, a lot of times I see our world as animated too (but usually just for a few moments at a time). The outline of things seem more prominent and the colours look more "fake". But that’s just a personal experience I started to have after opening up my brain more.
To my fellow anime lovers, what do you guys think? Do you notice any similarities between isekai animes and shifting?

Attempted to shift through Lucid dreaming and nothing happened? Why?
I never really achieved to lucid dream until a few days ago, I was dreaming and something that didn’t make sense at all happened so I was like “wait it’s impossible, so I’m definitely dreaming!” And then I was like looking at my legs to confirm idk why and they were all blurry so I directly started to think “Okay now I’m in \*the name of my desired reality desired reality•” and felt as in a speedy tunnel with light and like sort of fast pressure then I was trying to convince myself I was there kinda until I eventually woke up, in the same reality tho like directly “shit it didn’t work” without having even had the time to realize it. Pls I need your opinion here people 🙏
The Fears Of Shifting and how to deal with it.
(I was asked to make this post 😊)
The are so many fears that people have with shifting and I shall try and get through the ones I know of, and if i have missed any let me know and I shall add them!
Getting Stuck In Your DR/Another Reality
It is impossible, there is no way to be stuck in a Reality, if that were the case, your awareness wouldn't be able to move around freely without your knowledge. Yes, you shift constantly, most of the time you don't even realise.
Even as someone who shifts and doesn't remember my CR when I shift. I always find my way back, it is like when you travel in general, you always know your way home to a certain extent.
The Fear Of Shifting in itself
It is a completely natural feeling to have if something you haven't done before, like when you were a kid and trying to ride a bike, or climb the tallest tree. It is the fear of the unknown, and it can be a hard fear to get over, some don't get over it until they have actually shifted. But all you need to remember is that in your DR or any other realities that you exist in, you have been there since the day you were born! Waking up there is normal, your life there is normal and average to that version of you.
But if the fear is too much to the point of even feeling yourself being able to shift. Maybe try some meditation, speaking to spirit guides, your god/s etc, or even the higher version of yourself, get the answers in what you want to know.
Time Differences
DR to CR time, there are some people who worry of the "what will happen to my CR self once I have shift?" And this is usually based of the misinformation that has been spread around of clones. Clones of which don't exist. You do not turn into a brain dead zombie that has not control over what they do. You do not need to script a plan of what your CRself will do while you shift. When you shift. Your life here will just drift on as normal, you will do what you normally would do in life, you don't lose your consciousness, it is only your awareness that leaves.
If it worries you that much, make it a point that no time passes when you shift.
Shifting to the wrong reality
It can happen, some people like myself enjoy going to random realities and find enjoyment out of it. But everyone is different and some people fear the unknown. But the best thing is, you are the one in control, if you shift somewhere and you dont like the look of it, come back to your CR or shift to somewhere else (and yes. It is that easy). You are always the one in control!
If I shift to a fiction I haven’t finished watching, how will the narrative gaps be filled in my DR?
I keep asking myself this because I wonder what it’ll be like when I shift.
For example : Will the characters I haven’t seen yet in the seasons I haven’t watched be there? With their ‘real’ fictional personalities, or with personalities my subconscious has imagined to fill in the gaps? How if I haven't finish all the seasons my dr will be? Does it will create new stories?
Has anyone shifted to a Magical Girl DR?
(please tell me how it was)I need some tips.
How do I move forward when I feel like I’m still at the beginning after 6 years?
I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this post, and I'm sorry if all this sound like a sob story or tmi. I feel completely lost and I need advice from people who might genuinely understand what I’m going through.
Ever since I was little, I’ve struggled a lot with depressive thoughts, existential anxiety, and this constant feeling that life has no meaning. Even when good things happened to me, those feelings always came back eventually. Looking back, I think I developed a habit of escaping reality very early on. In middle school I got heavily into anime, manga, and fictional worlds, and they became my comfort. No matter what was happening in my real life, I could always distract myself with another fictional story.
Then in 2020 I discovered reality shifting, and it genuinely changed my life. For the first time, I felt hope. I became obsessed with the idea that one day I would finally leave this reality behind and go somewhere where I could actually be happy. Shifting became the center of my thoughts 24/7. My mindset basically became: “There’s no point in trying or getting attached to this reality because eventually I’ll shift anyway.”
The problem is… I’m 20 now, and I still haven’t shifted even once.
And now I feel like I’m in this horrible place mentally where shifting is still my biggest desire in life, but I also feel completely disconnected from it at the same time. I don’t even know HOW to properly try anymore. I’m being serious when I say I feel genuinely lost and confused about the entire process, and nothing I try would FEEL like an honest attempt.
What hurts even more is that if I’m being completely honest, I can probably count on one hand the amount of times I truly gave shifting a serious attempt. On top of that, I've maybe had 5 lucid dreams, which all lasted for like 5 seconds each. Most of the time I spent was daydreaming about shifting instead of truly practicing it, because deep down I think I was terrified of failure and also using the idea of shifting as escapism from my real life.
And lately I’ve started doubting everything. Sometimes I can’t fully convince myself shifting is even real anymore. But even when I do believe in it, I still struggle to believe that I can do it specifically. I feel like I fail at everything even when I genuinely try, so part of me keeps thinking: “Why would this be different?”
But despite all of that, shifting is still the thing I want most in life. I genuinely want to succeed and I’m willing to put effort in. I really want to shift within the next 4 months, I'm willing to try and do everything "right" and start taking it seriously for once.
So please, can someone just tell me if there's any hope left for me after 6 years? And where do I go from here, because I'm basically still at my starting point after all this time?
