Does anyone know what Juan Croucier is up to these days?

Anyone know anything? Does he perform at all anymore? I can’t seem to find much about him online besides a couple things from 3+ years ago.

He doesn’t seem to have any social media profiles either that I could find (unless I’m just missing them)

Warren Wednesday🔥Metal Edge interview (Reach for the Sky era)

Scavenger hunt! Can anyone find the slight flaw within this article? (Mini-hint: It's on the second page.)

I still love the *adorable* shot of Warren and Kathy! My husband actually met her back in 1991 in New York City, when Warren was participating in an event honoring Frank Zappa. He said she was very kind and a delight to speak with....I think he still has a photo with her somewhere.

On a related note....I have been searching tirelessly for this online and keep coming up empty. Does anyone else remember Warren doing an interview for Andy Warhol's Interview Magazine? I believe it was sometime in 1987 or 1988 (not certain)...the feature photo with the piece was a black-and-white shot of him and Kathy, where they were lying on a bed together and she was in a black corset and chauffer's cap get-up....a Joan Collins in The Bitch kind of thing. I remember being all agape in the middle of my local magazine shop as I had never seen sweet, innocent Warren (!) in a scenario like that. 😸🤯😸 I regrettably did NOT by the magazine, however...I only had enough cash on me to buy one, and one of the big rock publications of the time had a pin-up of Eric Carr that I could not resist. That damn issue of Interview always stuck in my mind, though....I unfortunately do not even remember who was on the cover so I cannot reserve search from there. I think I found that shot of Warren and Kathy online only once but it was many years ago....it seems to have since disappeared. Anyone know what I am talking about ~ or even better, actually HAVE that magazine???? ANY information at all to validate my memory would be appreciated. 🙏😸

I had been considering posting this for quite some time but the recent Lee Aaron Oui magazine post pushed the envelope on that decision. 😸 I still have on cassette tape an interview from the radio show Rockline in October 1986 with Stephen and Robbin (RIP 🙏)...when a female caller laid into Stephen about Playgirl, he said he decided to do it because of too many "sock in the pants" accusations...YET, when asked why he opted not to show EVERYTHING, the response was something along the lines of, "Gotta leave something to imagination..." Ummmmm....OK....you didn't help your argument, Pearcy.... 😸😒

On a related note and which should be common knowledge by now (it has been brought up in comments on other posts on this sub, mostly by me), Robbin's then-girlfriend, later-wife Laurie Carr was Miss December 1986 in Playboy - she was the cover model on Slaughter's Stick It to Ya album. Also a Playmate that year was Ava Fabian (Miss August 1986)...she was the model at the end of the Way Cool Jr. video.

Stephen explaining the title of “Invasion of your Privacy” on Radio 1990 (1985)

This clip is so hilarious to me. “It isn’t like an offensive thing, we don’t mean it as that” then proceeds to say they’re “in your home” with everyone’s mothers, daughters and sisters 😂 diabolical!

Shout out to u/Amysfunhouse24 for the inspiration to dig this one out of my guest room closet! 😸❤️ Snagged this on April 3, 1989 at the Capital Centre in Largo, MD. KIX and Britny Fox were the openers for this leg of the tour. On this occasion, the Britny Fox guys graciously swapped spots with KIX so that they could play a longer set in the biggest arena in their home state. It was a such a huge, proud moment for both the band and all their fans...the place was bonkers! ❤️ I actually got a little weepy, to be honest. A fantastic night overall and a personal win-win for me with Brian Forsythe and Warren DeMartini performing back to back! 🔥😸❤️ Rest in peace, Robbin... 🙏

Making Warren Wednesdays a thing. 😸🤘😸 Found these shots on Tumblr....I have otherwise never seen them before and do not know the original source. I initially thought Shot #2 was mistagged as Warren ~ could pass as Richie Sambora at a quick glance, in my opinion.

The one opportunity I had to see Ratt in the Cellar days was when they were opening for Billy Squier in 1984...rant in this r/hairmetal thread about how that opportunity was squandered... I may or may not still be pissed 👿😸...

https://www.reddit.com/r/hairmetal/comments/1hsial3/comment/m596kh4/

I would eventually make up for it with the Invasion tour and beyond. To note:

  • Bon Jovi opened on October 15 1985.
  • Poison opened on March 12 1987 and June 19 1987.
  • At the Cap Centre on April 3 1989, Britny Fox graciously swapped with KIX so that they could play a longer set in the biggest arena in their home state. It was EPIC! The crowning moment was when Steve Whiteman fell to his knees and declared, "We made it!" 🤘❤️ (I got a little weepy....) And of course it was a win-win, double whammy night for me between Brian Forsythe and Warren.... ❤️🔥😸🔥❤️
  • That 1989 show would also be the last time I saw Robbin live ~ Michael Schenker was "filling in" at the August 1991 show while Robbin was "recovering from an illness" ...or at least that was the vague narrative being pushed at the time. Rest in peace, King. 🙏

A moment of silence for the Capital Centre a/k/a U.S. Air Arena before it was demolished🙏....so many fantastic concert memories there! Merriweather Post Pavilion is alive and VERY well after a shitload of upgrades...they still won't pave the goddamn parking lot off Broken Land Parkway, though... 👿

Check this out. In 84 I won a contest at my local rock station to go onstage with Ozzy (that’s another story) Out of the Cellar was just out and I was psyched because I loved the band. I even used to sign my name ‘Patt’ back then. I’ve got some signed albums and a pick from Warren but I just found this: Robbin wrote ‘get down on your guitar’ (I told him I played) and Juan wrote ‘be cool’. They were really nice guys, the album had just broken and round and round wasn’t even that big yet.

The title on this clip says 1988 but this was actually the 1985 MTV Video Music Awards. Stephen and Aimee Mann ('Til Tuesday) presented the Viewers Choice Award. Go to approximately 1:39:45 here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHABO77KBWM

I remember watching the awards in real time that year...I clearly remember taping John Taylor and Andy Taylor presenting the Video Vanguard Award to Russell Mulcahey (I'm an OG Duranie 😸😁), and I am positive I taped Stephen's segment as well...I would have been extremely remiss if I did not. He looks so nervous! 😸

Here is my Ratt Spotify playlist if anyone is interested!

There’s also some Mickey Ratt songs/demos & a few songs from Arcade (Stephen Pearcy & Fred Coury’s band that was formed in the 90s).

I hope you guys like it! 🤘

This clip is a decade old by now but it still comes up in my sidebar on YouTube now and again, this morning being no exception. I always get a chuckle out of it and it still makes me go, "Wwwwhhhhhaaaattttt.....????" 😸😒🤯

Blotz and Robbin are the only 2 OG Ratt members I never had the opportunity to meet. I have always heard nice things about Robbin (may he rest in peace 🙏)....not so much about Blotz. 😬 Anyone have a story or anecdote to share about Bobby specifically? I don't think anything would shock me. Geezy pee, I am STILL not done reading his autobiography after 3+ years...it's so laborious. 😸😒
