Typically my pod plays bracket 2 or 3. Some of these are on the low end of b3.
Some are works in progress! I love a good toolbox :)
I started about 6 months ago and the hobby has completely changed my life. 6 months sober and excited for the future.
(I also have a krenko deck but I don’t play him bc I hate how it plays)
Been playing since innistrad crimson vow.
Always enjoyed playing at bracket 2/3.
I've made many more decks in the past but these are the ones that I currently play.
I love making and playing very thematic decks. I love that the combos in Asmo feel like getting a "econ" victory in other games as the kitchen opens up and buries the table in food and value. Also the flavour of Yurlok and a bunch of other druids casting evil curses and spells is great.
I'm currently looking to have a deck for each "archetype" so i'm looking for suggestions for control/midrange/aggro decks that fill that flavor win. Open to any suggestions.
I heavily modified the Turtle Power deck to remove all the villains. I've included only Heroes and those that have a comic past of working with the Turtles. I know it's not optimized because I chose to only have cards from the TMNT set.
My question is that ManaBox is saying it's a Bracket 1. That seems too low; I've been playing Magic long enough to have an idea of putting together a deck that would work. I haven't played Commander that much so is the play style that much different that Standard? (Semi stupid question I know as Standard and Commander are quite different, I just didn't think it would be THAT different if I thought I was improving a deck and made it worse)
Anyway could someone give a look at the deck and see if Bracket 1 is right? Feel free to criticize since I know people look down on TMT cards, but if you're gonna talk smack could you please give feedback as well while your doing it? Thank y'all! (Yes the art styles of the cards in the playlist are the ones I'm rocking)
I’ve been playing since Tarkir: Dragonstorm. I’ve built other decks in the past but tore them apart, and these six have been my ride-or-die’s. My regular playgroup generally tries to build bracket 4’s so I’ve optimized mine over time to keep up, but I have the most fun in bracket 2-3.
I’m still pretty new to magic, I’ve just been upgrading this deck constantly. If you have any tips or other commanders I might like, please feel free to share!
Started playing last year when the Avatar set released and love all the Lord of the Rings Cards. This is the first deck I've built that isn't from a precon. How did I do?
It’s my first time making a deck since I’ve started playing with precons and maybe adding a couple of cards I have no idea on brackets but I think it’s a bracket 1.3 (?) I’m missing a couple of hydras and spells
Like goldvein hydra and ripples of potential
I take a lot of pride in having my decks be unique builds that I have assembled and tweaked over a long period of time. No win condition is ever entirely unique in any deck, but I do my best to avoid Craterhoofs and Torment of Hailfires. I started playing EDH with the first commander set release with Zedruu, which has slowly mutated into a monstrosity over the years. Started playing again just this last year and having a blast re-inventing decks in a new format landscape that has drastically evolved from what I used to play.
Not 100% about the bracket system, but my friends and I mostly play lower power magic and these are two favorites of mine. I try to bring to the table things and strategies that people have never seen, but hopefully afterwards think are neat
Probably the most proud I've ever been of my roster at one time. I also carry an Eowyn, Shieldmaiden precon with a couple swaps in it that I keep just for ultra casual time, but that doesn't have enough of my own work in it to get its own passport thing.
