When perfectly clean, the gun runs perfectly fine. When unsurpressed after about two mags it fails to chamber around. With a suppressor it takes it down to about one mag. Factory bolt gap is . 016 I've even changed to a 40° with a bolt gap of . 022. Also I've changed the stock to a cetme stock with a newer recoil spring, Same problem. Where should I start troubleshooting? Any advice?

I just finished decking out my CA3 and I just gotta say….I think I’m in love lol. I’ve shot about 240 rounds through this thing and it’s been an absolute blast! Ngl tho, I thought I’d like having a red dot and magnifier but I’m almost tempted to get an LPVO instead. Thoughts???

Got the Romeo 7 mounted on the MFI rail section, I also added the cheek riser, HK21 buttpad and got a Bill Springfield modified buffer off of HK Parts. Shoots pretty nice now.

So here I have my CA-3 from century arms kitted out to my liking (and pain), I gave it the Spuhr furniture and such, but I decided to give a little bit to the “commies” as well.

I bought the controversial “Elcant” from specprecision along with the fake DBAL n took em to the range for zeroing. So far the laser has held up great got about 300 rounds through it with no shift, However the Elcant is gonna take some time to get used to.

Put 40 rounds through it after I got it set at 100 yards and it has its quirks.

It has the same tight eyebox that everyone talks about but the thing is, you have to over adjust the windage turret on a .308 for it to line up properly simply due to recoil.

After I figured that out it seemed to group decently for my satisfaction.

I have the groupings labeled on the target in the second picture for everyone’s liking and disdain.

I have yet to see anyone talk about putting this in a g3 clone. I know it’s not meant for it but you would think it would work.

I bought this expensive spuhr rail hoping it would hold zero and it doesn't... in fact it doesn't fit it well at all... I had to grind on metal (a little) to get it to somewhat fit and it still doesn't sit very level. anyone know anyone who welds on rails? i contacted PTR and they won't weld a rail on for me...

what should I do? I want a dmr type rifle... seriously thinking about ditching this whole rifle and just buying a soulless ar-10

Thing shoots great. Dead nuts at 100 with the irons. Got the Midwest mlok handguard and some other goodies. Now I can move my QD Harris over when at the range.

I can’t find any reference pictures. Is this carbon around the rim normal?

Shout out to everyone that helped me pick which model I wanted. I'm already trying to decide if I want to throw my extra lpvo on it or pull the exps3 off my bullpup.
