Whats up with used Power Wagon pricing
I recently two power wagon options near me, they are both 75th anniversaries with a couple of modifications, however the pricing for mileage is stark!
The first of the two is $51,000 for a 42,000 miles @ a regular CDJR dealership
However, the second option (albeit from Carmax) is $46,000 for 92,000 miles?
A $5,000 price difference for half the mileage seems wild what's the deal?
Bought my power wagon used in January. I knew the tires it came with were about shot and yesterday i realized they are load range C as i aired them up to pull a heavy trailer. I want load range E tires as i tow a heavy 14k trailer occasionally (i have airlifter springs)
I do not daily drive the truck. I only use it to tow trailers of dirtbikes, ATV, Boats Campers. Additionally I will flat tow the PW behind my motorhome to get us to the trailheads. I dont rockcrawl or anything with it, but i do find myself on muddy trails and forest roads, so want some grip. Snow doesnt really matter as i live in Florida and dont plan on any snow travel.
Im a costco member and see they basically only sell BFG tires for my sizes. Looks like Discount tire is same prices. I have seen some mixed reviews on BFG in the past, but KO3 and HD terrain are new. I do like that they have a Load Range F. I have also heard the NITTOs last a long time from a fellow Power Wagon owner i met out in public. Just wanted to see what you all think or if there is another tire that will fit the bill without wasting money.
BFG All Terrain T/A KO3 $387
BFG HD Terrain T/A KT $419
NITTO Ridge Grappler $382
