I am currently on a sabbatical, interested in building community through meetups, come as you are tell us a story, talk freely, and maybe explore a few shared activities together.
Still shaping this as we go, but the intention is to keep it inclusive, relaxed, and easy to be part of.
Please check this post on Friday 15 May for exact plan.
🌿 Saturday Meetup
📅 Date: 16 May
⏰ Time: 5 PM
📍 Venue: Deendayal Garden
Sunday 17th - Still in the works
👭 Also open to exploring women-only meetups (weekday mornings). If that interests you, let me know.
This group is small and intentional—no WA groups until we’ve met in person.
Creating a safe, respectful space matters, and we’ll be mindful of that together.
If this resonates, See you 🌿
Looking to Rent a 1 BHK in Hiranandani Gardens for 6 months, likely to extend.
Any leads welcome 🙏
Thanks in advance.
Hello! Please help a sister out here.
I'll be moving to powai soon for my job. I'm not earning much, so I would prefer staying somewhere away from powai since it's toooo expensive.
The job is hybrid, so I don't need to go to office daily, which means it's alright to commute if distance is long.
I prefer 1 bhk as my parents and family would be visiting me regularly. But even this can be costly, so I'm okay sharing a 2 bhk with somebody too. If you know someone who's looking for 2bhk or is already staying in one with the other room being empty, please inform.
I'm a non-smoker, non-drinker and someone who is preparing for some exams side by side, so privacy is must if there's anybody who wants to share room.
Rent range: 15-20k
I do not want any brokers as I have no money to pay them.
Also safety is very important, so please help me out with some good suggestions.
Thanks!
Hi, I'm a beginner badminton player looking to play around 3 times a week, mostly on weekends and maybe sometimes early mornings. The schedule can be worked out, but would love to get this started. Let me know if anyone is interested.
Edit: It'd be great if anyone can suggest a court in the area, preferably one which doesn't mandate non-marking shoes.
Hey folks, one of the rooms in our 3BHK is opening up and we’re looking for someone to take it over. Posting here before going the broker route.
The setup:
• Rent: ₹25k + \~₹2.5k furniture
• Powai Vihar — 5–10 min walk to any Hiranandani office (Galleria, Nirvana, Supreme), lake is right there
• Single occupancy only (owner’s rule, non-negotiable)
• Private bathroom — it’s just outside the room but no one else uses it, basically yours
• Furnished — bed, wardrobe, AC, fan.
About us: two working bachelors, both pretty easy to live with. We mostly do our own thing — no party house, no drama, we don’t mind if you light it up. but happy to grab a chai or beer when schedules line up. Looking for someone on a similar wavelength: working professional, clean, considerate, smoking and dietary preferences aren’t an issue.
If you’re working in/around Hiranandani and want to skip the commute, this is a solid spot. Text with a quick intro — what you do, when you’re looking to move in — and I’ll share more pics and set up a visit.
If anyone up for plan let me know 😁
Chill place to have coffee, work and discuss ideas with a friend.

Please suggest me some restaurants near IIT that serve a variety of good chicken gravies.
I don’t want to order food,
I will go there by myself to take parcel.

I promoted ChatGPT to objectively assess and rank the Indian prime ministers till date. In the first response, it gave a basic evaluation framework and indicated J Nehru as the best PM. It excluded NaMo stating that his era is still unfolding and may not be right to assess. When I indicated that he had been in his seat for 11 years, it ranked him at number 2. When I asked for very specific KPIs of impact, it kept faltering and changing the framework.
I fed my chat to Claude and it indicated that Chatgpt looks functionally biased.
Claude gave a clear framework with weights across each. Manmohan Singh has been the best PM to date basis this framework.
Namo ranked at 5, out of 6 that it evaluated, with Indira Gandhi at number 6.
Any thoughts on how these models are doing it?
Looking for good and interesting people I live in hiranandani y
Been in Mumbai for a bit now, settling into the whole working professional life (29M). It's a great city but let's be honest - it can feel a bit isolating when you're new and most of your social circle is still back home (Nashik) or spread across different parts of the city.
Just putting this out there to see if anyone else is in a similar phase - relatively new to the city, working a 9-to-6ish job, trying to build a social life outside of work and family obligations.
Not looking for anything specific, just genuine connections with people who get the "figuring it out" phase of adulting in a big city.
Drop a comment if you're in a similar spot. Preferably folks near Powai, Kanjurmarg or Vikhroli but honestly doesn't matter much.
Please recommend - Looking for a ladies tailor for stitching ethnic kurta & pants or tops/tunics in Powai hiranandani area, Eden market, Heera Panna mall etc.
Literally exactly what the title says. I’ve seen it on almost every wall in powai and still have no idea what it means :/
I have been a frequent to powai socials since a year now, usually on Saturdays there is a section of crowd that comes because there are no cover charges, however it has been deteriorating now.
I was at the counter, buying a drink, beside me were two F’s, that were there just for dancing. There was a guy on the other side of the side table (the one near the counter) and he was showing tongue to everyone, even Ms.
Although at the starting it felt like he is just enjoying it and there are no intentions but he was constantly looking for single Fs and showing them his tongue and giving weird expressions. Now these two Fs who were dancing beside me (I was with a couple of more friends), started calling them.
Since there was no much space to dance this side of the floor, they went near him (also he offer his seat and they had food so made sense), as I said at first it was felt like he was just enjoying it but soon he started rubbing himself on one of the Fs which she quickly resisted and stood up.
He said sorry and started dancing again, but he again did it, this time a bouncer noticed and came near him. He asked him to leave but this guy had some very strong guts, he refused, he said these Fs came on my table and are drinking on the same table where my drink is kept, ASK THEM TO LEAVE.
He had his drink kept there, the bouncer after an argument went away, he literally said the girls NIKLO CHALO.
And then he started dancing again, with his tongue out looking for other girls.
He went away after a while since probably he did not find anyone.
Now why it bothered us is we were sitting exactly opposite to this, and it was second hand embarrassment hitting us high, we literally stopped dancing, and went away from that place.
I might be criticised for writing this, but for all those, I get it, in clubs/pubs single crowd come to find some fun, equally applied for both gender, but should there be no decency, a sense of boundary, respect while approaching?
If there is a eye contact, a smile, a dance and things leading, of course clubs are meant for it. But harassing others by quickly escalating when the other party is in no mood, just ruins the vibe for those approached as well as those observing.
Also should there not be a dress code on saturdays? I saw people coming in polo t shirts (this is a completely different discussion and has nothing to do with the topic of this thread)
Comments/Critics are welcomed.
Hi everyone,
My friend and I are planning to move, and we’re currently looking for either:
-A master bedroom in a preoccupied flat, or
-A 1BHK flat
There will be 2 people moving in.
Preferred locations are Powai, Hiranandani Powai, or nearby areas with good connectivity.
Budget: Around ₹25,000
We’re both working professionals, clean, responsible, and easygoing tenants. Ready to move in soon.
If you have any leads or know someone looking for flatmates/tenants, please DM me. Thank you!
Looking for a room/flatmate setup in Powai (or nearby: Chandivali, Vikhroli, Kanjurmarg).
Budget: ₹20–30k for my share.
I’m open to:
- joining an existing flat
- flatmate replacement
- or teaming up with someone to hunt together
I mostly work from home, quiet and clean lifestyle, and looking for a peaceful setup with decent connectivity.
Move-in: flexible over the next few weeks.
Please contact if you know of anything :)
Did anyone else received this message with a loud alarming noise from their phones.
After connecting on this sub, seven of us decided to ride out to Vajreshwari last night. No ghost hunting this time just pure vibes.
We ended up having the ultimate "Mumbai outskirts" experience:
• Took the bikes out and enjoyed the empty night roads.
• Found a spot for a campfire and cooked noodles under the stars.
• Raided some mango trees (best mangoes we've had in a while).
• Ended the night soaking in the Garam Kund (hot springs) and just lying on the empty roads to talk and smoke.
It’s rare to meet a group of strangers on the internet and have it feel like you’ve known each other for years. If you’re thinking about joining a Reddit meetup, this is your sign to do it.
Shoutout to the crew for the laughs and the memories. Where should we head next?
