Please help

Hi plusnet user here, I have been with plusnet for nearly 5 years and just ran into a issue, so ordered a new hub since my old one was flashing orange and my new hub did the same until I removed my faceplate from my master socket and linked broadband cable to my test socket and now I have full connection, could this mean i need to replace the faceplate? thanks

Why charge an OAP more Plusnet?

So my dad who is in his mid 70’s and lives alone has been with PlusNet for like 20 years right back to basic DSL and has received several calls about upgrading to FTTH aka full fibre.

Not being too tech savvy I went through different options with him as I am also a PlusNet customer and he was armed with the website prices and speeds when he next call a call advising him to upgrade.

Not only did they want to charge him more for the service prices as advertised on the website, he would not keep his loyalty discount or get the latest router free of charge.

This is unexpected and below the usual standards I’d expect from PlusNet - is this just an over zealous sales guy try to maximise his commission or do PlusNet want to lose his custom?
