The playlist just dropped! 🤩 🎧

It’s stacked with your tracks and ready to stream. Feel free to share it on your socials (IG, FB, etc.) to help spread the word. If you made the cut, it means the community is genuinely digging your sound (and you’ve been putting in the work on the app this week).

PS: There is exactly one open spot left. We’re locking it in tomorrow with one artist who has their track active on the app right now. For everyone else, you'll just have to wait for the next rotation. 👀

Noisy math rock

I put together a playlist of the rougher, noisier end of math rock to counterpart my previous "Emotive Math Rock" playlist. Don Caballero, Hella, You Slut!, Adebisi Shank, Battles, Physics House Band, LITE, Zazen Boys, and a few others.

Intended as a full listen rather than a shuffle. Let me know what's missing!

Singing To The Choir

I was listening to “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” by The Stones the other day and was wondering if it’s possible to put together a playlist of songs that feature a choir, or multiple backup singers that sound choir-like. Nick Cave’s “O Children” is another one that I would include along with “Like A Ship” by Pastor T.L. Barrett & The Youth For Christ Choir. As you can see, I’m open to different Genres, just looking for songs with the choir being in the background.

Any recommendations?

First time in rock, built my first playlist for the genre

First time ever adding rock to my library and I didn’t expect it to hit like this.

I’ve been building this Playlist from scratch, picking up recommendations and slowly finding what clicks. I feel like I’ve got a bit of a foundation now, but honestly it’s still uncharted waters for me. I never thought I’d be into this genre, but here i am.

Right now I’m leaning toward classic rock, not necessarily strong vocals, but at least catchy lyrics, and guitar riffs that actually sticks with me.

Appreciate all the recommendations so far, keep them coming. Always open to more.

This is where I’m at right now ⛓️

alternate universe twilight soundtrack

I have always loved the twilight soundtracks, as a matter of fact, I think they shaped my taste in music (and I think a lot of fans of the series would agree that these soundtracks are some of the best movie soundtracks ever).

I love making playlists, and so for the past few months, I've put a lot of thought into this one that I call: "alternate universe twilight soundtrack"

It's a collection of 14 songs (under 1 hour length) that I think would be on a twilight soundtrack if the movies were made today

so my gf's getting into rock/punk/alt

hey all! my gf is trying to get more into rock/alt/punk and I've been trying my best to introduce her to new music to help her expand her taste. she thought it was cool that I had some likes for my spotify playlists so I was wondering, if you guys were down, if you'd want to try adding and/or listening to her playlist to hype her up? giving feedback or recs would also be awesome. it would genuinely mean a lot to me and I'm sure it'll make her super happy. I hope it turns out to be a banger playlist as well! (so far I really like it!). this is the link to her spotify playlist thanks a lot in advance yall cheerssss ;))

I've been looking for the Memphis equivalent of SpaceGhostPurrp for 2 years — finally found something close

Most trap production pulls from one of two lineages: the ASAP/cloud rap era or

the Brazilian phonk wave that blew up on TikTok. But there's a weird third lane

that almost nobody talks about anymore — that raw Memphis underground production

(Three 6 Mafia, DJ Squeeky, early Project Pat era) mixed with lo-fi textures

and early 2010s swag attitude. Not the drift phonk. The other thing.

Been digging through SoundCloud and small Spotify labels for months and found a

handful of producers actually working in that space. Put together a playlist:

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/48jXpqGQxaTGgX23sPfx8l

(Artists: Towa, Zwe1hvndxr, lykia, cloudz, prodz.Otosan)

Who else is making this? Drop names or SoundCloud links — I'm trying to

understand if this is actually a genre or if I'm just obsessed with one very

specific sound.
