WHAT WAS THAT TECHNICAL INTERVIEW HELPPP

0/10 interview

the questions i was asked:

find the “essentricity” of a specific hyperbola (idk what that is)

find the standard limits of a algebraic and trigo function (idk what that is)

functions of a unit circle

standard deviation what is it (the only good question)

what is periodicity in trigo functions (tan x and sin x and definition)

a few more questions i was really unfamiliar with

inverse of some matrix (WTH IS A MATRIX IVE NEVER STUDIED THAT)

y’all may find this easy but in a levels this terminology is not used often and im also a math student (not p c or b) how am i supposed to know all this stuff from jee or cbse or idk what curriculum is this

the interviewer also made it pretty tense. Should i have any hope? My PI was decent along with appl but TI was the worst interview ive given in my existence

Thapar (COE) vs Plaksha (CS+AI) - ₹30 Lakh Loan on the line. I am terrified

Hey guys, I’m in a massive dilemma and need some unfiltered advice.

* **My Stats:** 87%ile in JEE, expecting 90% in Boards.

* **The Situation:** I have Punjab Domicile, so I’m likely getting **Thapar COE**. I also have an offer from **Plaksha (Mohali)** for CS+AI.

* **The Catch:** I will be on a **100% Education Loan (₹25L - ₹32L)**. My parents are counting on me, and I cannot afford to be unplaced or underpaid

.

**My confusion:**

  1. **Thapar:** Huge legacy, safe placement record (500+ companies), but a massive batch size.

  2. **Plaksha:** Boutique, amazing curriculum, high reported average (~₹19-20L), but it's new. I've heard some mixed reviews about the "vibe" and whether big MNCs actually visit or if it’s just founder-group companies.

**I am terrified of risking my future and my parents' money.**

* Is the "new-age" curriculum at Plaksha worth the risk over Thapar's brand?

* For someone with a huge loan, which one is the "safer" bet for a ₹15LPA+ job?

* Are Plaksha's placement stats legit or inflated?

How hard are studies in plaksha

I have gotten admitted to plaksha with a 90% board marks condition which Im sure il get. I have heard that it is very study rigorous. Any people in plaksha right now or alumnis pls tell how hard it really is to maintain a decent cgpa and manage all studies well. Does it have a good college life and do we get chances to chill and have fun?

Question regarding Student Intake

Is there a course-wise allocation on the number of students per cohort? i.e. Do they tend to accept an equal number of students for all the majors or are they okay if the numbers are skewed towards CSAI and DSEB? Do they have a predetermined % for students in each major (say 25% for each)?

I'm genuinely interested to take up either CSAI or DSEB but I know that people might apply for them because of placement or because they think its in demand. Hence, will I be up more a higher number of applicants because I'm applying for that?

P.S : Not intending on applying for RAS and then switching. I know that is a bad idea. Just looking for more clarity.

Plaksha or Comedk Colleges

I appeared for comedk yesterday. It went average. Will probably get into DSCE or BIT, even BMSCE, if I attempted all correctly. Should I apply to plaksha? I am pretty sure I'll get in. I have 97% in 10th, 89 in 12. 93%ile in JEE mains, 1480 sat. Have won some national level competitions and some state level as well. So a decent profile
