I've been recovering from a depressive episode earlier in life and it feels like a major roadblock in that journey is my tendency to numb or intellectulize my emotions away. I can still feel flashes of deep feeling occasionally so I know they're in there somewhere, but the numbing had become so automatic while depressed that now even when I want to feel things it's like my mind can't help but run away and only feel the most surface level emotions. Nothing feels emotionally authentic if that makes semse.

Anyone dealt with this before? What has helped?

My boyfriend is pisces which he tells to me but he is born on September. He has a habit when he is under a lot of stress he pushes away everyone every close one from his life . Recently he wants to break up with me . He is under lot of pressure. I am solely holding this relationship as of now . So what to do . He is under lot of pressure right now , I called him multiple times today he didn't pick up the call . He gets irritated when I talk to him . For a once he picked up the call , he was feeling irritated when I was talking to him , he started to share something but within a second he stopped and cut the call . I love him very much and it hurts seeing him like this . He is under lot of financial and career stress right now . How to handle this!!!! I need help
