hello, I recently picked up a laptop a few months ago to feed the itch I had of pc gaming since the year 1999 and quitting around 2020... so I played some of the games I grew on including WoW, Minecraft, rust, dayz, tarkov, etc and well, over the last months ive been getting burnt out of all of these options. have found myself countlessly scanning the steam store daily for something new but just cant seem to find anything nowadays.
I am mainly looking for a simple fps shooter with high stakes, pvp combat, levels + gear score and ranks etc.
or a mmorpg with pvp enabled past level 10, continually pvp war zone in contested area questing and a big focus on just the pvp concept that we should have nowadays regardless... I have no clue whats happened over the last few years but steam charts have a lot of pve or singleplayer games on top charts. literally windrows has 180k players online right now and no pvp flex in sight...
what are your go to pvp games? any genre because at this point ill play hello kitty island adventure if they have aks and pvp.. lol....
Heyo everyone!
I have been working on my indie game for the past 5 years, and I was finally able to release the game on Steam on April 3rd after all of these years.
My game "LOST INSIDE" is a story-driven non-traditional RPG as you play a human child who stumbles their way into a world inhabited by Spirit Monsters. You find out that the world has been corrupted and only you (The Chosen One) can save this world.
If you like games with silly little characters then this might be for you.
So I’m getting a new pc my old potato couldn’t run much but I recently upgraded too a Ryzen 7 9800x3d a 9070xt and 32 gb ddr5 cl30 I haven’t really played many story games and stuck too games like marvel rivals on low settings some examples of games I’ve played whether now or back then that I enjoyed are Fable 1-3, Omori, Hollow Knight and Silk Song, Minecraft, and I started games like Nier Automata, Persona 5 Royal, and Expedition 33 just looking for new or old games that are graphically stunning and story driven
It's a breath of fresh air to say the least.
Lately, my news feed has been full of articles from different gaming websites talking about a recent Game Rant readers’ poll that put Red Dead Redemption 2 at number one. From what I saw, the poll first made waves at around 80,000 votes, and later coverage said it had passed 270,000 votes while RDR2 was still on top.
To be honest, seeing that result left me with mixed feelings.
I can fully respect what the game achieved. The attention to detail is incredible, the world feels alive, and the amount of craft behind it is obvious. The storyline is also really well developed throughout the game. In that sense, I completely understand why so many people admire it.
At the same time, I never managed to truly love it, because I have never been interested in that kind of setting. Cowboys, the Wild West, and that whole period of history just do nothing for me. So even though I can appreciate the quality of the game, I never felt deeply connected to the world it recreates.
That is why I wanted to ask this.
Do you really see RDR2 as the greatest game ever made, or do you think there are better choices? Or is calling any game “the best of all time” just too subjective to take seriously?
It's keeping saying that my correct password is incorrect and now it's showing account suspended.
My dark fantasy dynasty sports sim hits Steam Early Access on April 24th.
Solo dev. You manage a fighting promotion - recruit fighters, train them, send them to the arena, build a dynasty.
Early Access because the core loop is solid but there’s more I want to build with player feedback - more events, deeper political systems, expanded arena mechanics.
Around 1000 wishlists going in. Not expecting miracles, but it’s out there.

Happy to answer questions about the build, or how I’ve been running launch on top of a full-time job.
