Underground scene/popularity

My friend who genuinely hates underground music, he likes Eminem and all of a sudden after the Fall-Off dropped JUST got into J. Cole for the first time ever. He’s trying to argue that underground isn’t popular, it’s only bots and people who don’t have good music taste. And that current “mainstream is way bigger than the ug scene”. Is he right, or am I right for thinking ug is currently in 2026 bigger than mainstream this year? Lmk and be crucial and have your own opinions

We gotta look at the facts.. psykotic was so rushed😭

Function having 12 seconds at the end actually wasn’t intentional it happend because they sped up the song and forgot to cut off the excess space the song originally took up, hitech litterally said that he didn’t have enough time to finish the cover and if he did he would have added more, the mix sounds extremely rushed and sloppy, the tracklist had a song spelled wrong on it😭 I still love the album but am I bugging bro? there’s also no transitions anywhere on the album and ig he’s never been the kind of artist that does that but still

So frustrating bro, the mix on this album is the only reason I don’t go back to it often, it would easily be my favorite album by him if it weren’t for the mix

I genuinely don’t care if it was “intentional” it did not grow on me and I don’t think it ever will if it hasn’t by now, how did he go from such a good mix on Jumpout and flex music to this bro😭 i aint tryna hate but it’s gotta be said

Osamason is a real artist.

Every artist always has tradeoffs but osamason has none.

He makes amazing music.
He makes that amazing music very very consistently
He always has proper rollout.
He transitions eras flawlessly.
He always has amazing tours.
He is a good guy and is very nice to his fans ( No toxicity or Controversy )
He communicates a lot with his fanbase

Artists almost never have all of the qualities at once but he does. Which is why he is and will be known as generational. I honestly don't see him falling off for awhile.
