Hello! I’m trying to figure out the best way to find roommates in the Downtown Orlando area, but I’m a little stuck on the process. What I dont really want is to just join a random lease or move in with people I’ve never really talked to. Ideally, I’d want to find 1–2 roommates first, get to know each other a bit, and then look for apartments together so we’re all comfortable and on the same page. I’m just not sure how people usually go about doing that? Like do people mainly use apps, Facebook groups, Reddit, or is there a better way to actually meet potential roommates and hang out with them first and find a place together before locking anything in? If anyone’s done this before in Orlando/UCF area, I’d really appreciate any advice on what worked for you or where you actually found people you ended up living with.

Lease Takeover $652/mo Starting July

I’m looking for someone to take over my room in a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house located right behind Waterford Lakes in Bradfordt Village. The room I am looking to give up is the largest bedroom on the second floor. I am looking to release my lease end of June or beginning of July.

The available bedroom is upstairs and shares a full bathroom with one other roommate whose room is also on the second floor. There is a third upstairs bedroom, but it’s mostly used for storage. There is also a half bathroom downstairs, and a master bedroom with its own full bathroom.

The upstairs loft/common area would be shared between just 1 other, and you’d have plenty of freedom to store items or decorate the space however you’d like. All female roommates!
