Spigen Tempered Glass For OnePlus Nord 5

Spigen Tempered Glass For OnePlus Nord 5

Hello Nord 5 users, I'm using my Nord 5 from 6 months with the pre applied screen protector, now I'm thinking about getting a new tempered glass, but I just can't find a borderless tempered glass in any of the local shops near me, so I would like to know which one you're using?! And I'm thinking about getting Spigen tempered glass, is there anyone using that?

OnePlus nord after 6 years!!

I bought my OnePlus Nord in Mexico more than 5 years ago from an imported phone website, before OnePlus officially entered the Mexican market.

Now, after 5+ years, I’m about to make a big upgrade—from OnePlus to the Samsung S25 Ultra.

Throughout all these years, I don’t regret my purchase at all. Back then it cost me around 14,000 MXN (about $850 USD).

By the fourth year, the battery was heavily degraded to the point where I only got about 3 hours of screen-on time. I replaced the battery myself, and it went back up to around 5 hours, almost like new. I also took the chance to fix the screen, which had started to lift slightly from the bottom—you could even see the display flex if you pulled it with your fingernail.

Over these 5 years, I factory reset it three times, made countless photo backups, and broke multiple screen protectors.

It survived offshore work and multiple rainy days on the deck of a vessel.

Cosmetically, it’s still a 10/10—no scratches on the back, camera, or screen. Just minor wear on the frame from the different cases I liked to switch between.

Three days ago, the power button finally died, so I haven’t been able to restart it since. Even though I already ordered the replacement part on AliExpress, I think it’s time to retire this amazing phone—the last one I truly consider a real value-for-money OnePlus before the brand changed direction in that segment.

I’m really going to miss the alert slider—super useful at the movies.

I didn’t replace it earlier not because of money, but because even today it still handled everything I needed: social media, music, and photography.

Thank you for everything, OnePlus Nord 🩵

I’ll truly miss that incredible Blue Marble finish you have.

Anyone with similar experience?

ONEPLUS NORD 5, HEATING

I just bought the phone, after the Nord 6 launch, would have considered Nord 6, but it seems overpriced and downgraded cameras, are the deal breaker for me, Purchased Oneplus nord 5 on 10th April 2026, first 5 days the phone works great, then one day it's auto-updated my phone to OOS 16, and I noticed some changes, till the update was of March, but when it auto updated to April update the phone STARTED HEATING UPTO 46 DEGREE CELSIUS,

Before it goes max up to 42 degrees but today I noticed during my gaming session, that it goes to 46, my fingers are literally burning while playing CODM,

now what should I do, should I take it to the service centre or how do I downgrade it, it's just a new device, I don't want to risk it...

Amazon EMI Scam + Nord 6 Delivery Glitch?

Hey everyone, I’m trying to upgrade my phone and I’ve run into a massive headache with Amazon. I was looking at both the OnePlus Nord 5 and the new Nord 6, and something feels seriously off.

Issue 1: The "No Cost EMI" Math isn't mathing (The "Scam")

For both the Nord 5 and Nord 6, the offer page clearly lists a 6-month No Cost EMI with HDFC.

Nord 5 Offer Price: ₹32,499 (after ₹1,500 savings).

The Reality: When I go to the checkout page, the ₹1,500 savings vanishes. Instead, they add 17% interest, bringing the total to ₹34,129.

I checked the Nord 6, and it’s the exact same story. They advertise a "No Cost" price, but at the final step, the "savings" disappear and you’re just left paying a high-interest loan. Is anyone actually getting the No Cost discount at checkout, or is the UI just lying to us?

Issue 2: The Weird Delivery Restriction

I’m assuming the seller for both phones is the same (Darshita Electronics) because the names look identical, but here’s the kicker:

OnePlus Nord 5: Can be delivered to my home address without any issues.

OnePlus Nord 6: Shows "Not Deliverable" to my location.

How can one model from the same brand (and likely same seller) reach my house, but the newer version can't? Is Amazon restricting the Nord 6 deliveries to certain hubs, or is this just another glitch in their system?

Has anyone else faced this? I was ready to buy, but between the "No Cost" price jumping up at the last second and the delivery blocks, this feels like a total mess. Any advice or workarounds?

Aggresive RAM usage in nord 5

Hey guys I've just got my nord 5 1 week back currently running on is 16.0.5.701 (EX01) 8gb ram version.

My problem is without any app running in background I get only 2gb ram free and after running 3-4 apps simultaneously like chrome chatgpt flipkart amazon etc. It doesn't keep the apps in RAM for long and refreshes the apps in background.

How to solve this issue. Please guide it's my first 1+ device.

Battery draining faster after 6 months

Hey everyone,

I’m using a OnePlus Nord CE5 (around 6 months old) and I’ve noticed my battery backup has gotten worse recently, even though my usage hasn’t really changed.

What’s happening:

Earlier:

100% used to last ~30–40 minutes

After that, 99% would last around ~10 minutes

Now:

100% only lasts ~15–20 minutes

99% lasts around 6–7 minutes

Also during usage:

Earlier: ~10–12% battery lasted around 2 hours

Now: ~15–16% drains in similar/light usage

My daily usage (important):

I travel by bus for ~2 hours daily

Phone is used for around 1 hour 40 mins during that time

Sometimes Instagram (reels etc.)

Mostly music apps

Same route, same routine as before

Extra detail:

It’s currently very hot where I live (~45°C outside)

My phone heats up during travel/use in these conditions

But here’s the weird part:

Overnight drain is only 3–4%

Phone goes into deep sleep properly

No overheating in normal indoor conditions

So idle drain seems completely normal, which makes me think battery health is still fine.

Possible thing I did differently:

For the past 10–15 days, I wasn’t charging to 100% regularly (mostly between 20–80/85%)

Before that, I usually kept it between 90–100%

Problem: I can’t check battery health in settings, so I don’t know if it’s degraded or just a software/usage issue.

Question:

Is this normal after ~6 months?

Could this be calibration/network/app + heat related instead of battery wear?

Anyone else facing similar issues on OnePlus devices?

Would really appreciate any help or similar experiences 🙏

Does the Nord 6 have a vapour cooling chamber like oneplus 15

It doesn't mention anyone on the website if nord 6 has any cooling system . Was a bit concerned due to heat and summer in Asia .
