Let's be honest, people can choose to watch anime however they want.
I mean my cousin watches anime in his native language. Sometimes I need to sit him down and explain the plot of certain parts because it doesn't translate well or the dub is lowkey ass(for me).
But I'm just glad he's actually watching it. I'm proud to get him into anime
