I am looking at “more affordable” seaside towns to purchase a home in the next 2 or so years. I currently own a home in the western part of the state. What areas would you avoid and why?

Mine: a specialized high school (either arts- or maritime-focused); hyper-activated parks (Brooklawn, Buttonwood, and Hazelwood) with outdoor movies, sports, and family activities on the regular; and I’ll go for broke and move UMass Dartmouth downtown (see: Lowell). Go!
