Hey y'all, my friend recently ended their Y membership, so I lost my referral discount and just got my full bill today. If anyone is looking to join (or isn’t already using a referral), I’d be happy to share my code so we can both get the 20% discount.

I only get 20% off total regardless of how many people use it, I’m mainly trying to keep the discount, and figured I’d share the benefit if it helps someone else too.

Thanks!

2012 Mac Pro 5,1 - not a flashed 4,1

CPUs: 2x Intel Xeon X5690 (valued ~$50)

RAM: Samsung 16GB DDR3 ECC sticks x6 96GB total (valued ~$200)

SSD: Samsung 980 NVME 1TB (valued ~$150)

HDD: 2x WD Green 2TB (valued ~$50)

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB (valued ~$100)

It came from a recording studio off Music Row here in downtown Nashville, but I have no way to prove that and the storage has long been wiped, so take that for what it's worth as it doesn't increase its value any. I don't even remember what recording studio I bought it from.

I have no use for it anymore after building a newer gaming desktop. Willing to sell it for $500 (OBO because I just want it gone and I'm not sure it's actually worth $500) or I will part it out and scrap the machine itself at a recycling center if no offers in the next month or two.

Located near Nashville, TN, USA. Local pick-up or I will ship it properly in an appropriate sized and padded box for a fee, not whatever UPS/FedEx deems "good enough."

I had a move come up very short notice (2-3 days). I have a TV, an office char, and a standing desk, all in great condition, with combined initial purchase price of about $1k <1 year ago. Willing to throw in a pair of $100 AudioTechnica headphones (bought in February--perfect condition) for free.
