The OG Air Force that started all the hype

The Air Force 1 Linen Co.Jp from ‘01. Nike was branching out globally and started their program ‘Concept Japan’ of shoes exclusively made for Japan. I’ve heard stories of the great DJ Clark Kent taking a flight, buying multiple pairs, unfolding boxes, buying extra luggage’s… all the works just to have a few. Mayor being a pioneer in the shoe & Air Force culture; Fat Joe licking the bottom of his soles. The list goes on. This ranks high on many people’s Air Force list not just for its history, the shoe itself is so beautiful. Kith trying to revamp back in 2016, the 2024 release made for everybody. It will never come close to this. The premium leather, its distinctive brown tone, its soft pink shade. Just the OG Air Force shape itself says enough.

I got this pair back in 2021 from @heeldrags. The pair being older than me it has signs of age, its sole cracks, separation, small scuffs. That’s what makes me love it more. Just wear your shoes who gives a fuck.

not everything has to be black or white, this blue caught my eye

was browsing for something different and this blue-cream combo stopped me the retro basketball-inspired shape with the italian flag detail on the lace is a nice touch. feels like something you would see in a vintage european sports store not for everyone but if youre bored of neutral colorways this is a solid pickup what do you guys think, yay or nay on colored sneakers?

People of culture know what these are

Air Force 1 Roc-A-Fella "The Black Album" Friends & Family originally made for Jay-Z and anyone he wished to have pair. Hype culture more than likely knows the 2017 white Roc-A-Fella pair from Nike's AF100, but this is where it started. Many posts say it was made in only his size, 10.5 (which I was also misled by)... but there are many legit pairs of different sizes that have been listed for sale on eBay or through mutual connections. 10, 11, even a size 13. Regardless of the size it's an insanely rare pair to come by with under a 100 pairs total, way less in DS condition being from '03. One key difference I see on a variety of pairs is the stitching font on the back tab. Some have a skinnier font with visible stitches (like mine), while others have a bolder thicker font for a reason I don't know.

@pgknows has showed a sample of a retro pair that was made in 2017 and stories of picking up a bulk of them way before I knew these existed. The shoe speaks for itself, simple, clean, culture. Just thought I'd show these more love and bring them to light since there's not a lot of open info on them.

I wish I had the entire collection. Both versions of the white roc-a-fella F&F, single swoosh and double swoosh. The Blueprint 2, the 40/40 club's.

Just picked up a pair of Premiata Steven 8044s and they have that intentional distressed/worn look on the midsole and upper

Just picked up a pair of Premiata Steven 8044s and they have that intentional distressed/worn look on the midsole and upper.

I usually use something like Saphir Invulner suede protector on my sneakers, but I’m not sure if that would mess up the look on these especially since they’re meant to look a bit aged already.

Would spraying them:

change the color or even out the distressing?

make them look too “clean” or artificial?

Or is it better to just leave them untreated and let them wear naturally?

Curious what others have done with their Premiata sneakers.

Help me

Okay fellow sneakerheads. Which ones? I’m genuinely wanting opinions. P Rods, Chucks, J 1 heritage, or AF1? Was really anxious to rock the P Rods for the first time but I’m liking those the least right now anyways.

Trainers from Schuh-Bertl - Thoughts?

I was browsing The Gun Dog Affair website for shopping and I stumbled across these trainers. I've heard these are made in Germany and the soles can be renewed.

To anyone owning these trainers, what are your thoughts on it? To me, I'll take these trainers from Schuh-Bertl over Jordan and these come very reasonable price for something handmade at around 150-160 euro.

Breathable Sneakers Recommendations

I’m looking for breathable sneakers as I find my feet get hot easily in shoes I’ve bought in the past that are heavily padded. I’m planning a trip to Arizona and would love something that will keep my feet cool when doing easy level hiking!

Trying to sell Louis Vuitton trainers (blue beige damier)

I’ve been trying to sell these shoes for a while. The green colorway of the same style goes for $3700. I’m trying to sell mine for $3000. Any advice pertaining to ways to sell would be greatly appreciated. A buyer would be all the more appreciated.
