Just hit a new PB of 75 WPM. Any tips to reach the 100 mark?

yo, just wanted to share my monkeytype stats. i’ve been practicing a lot lately to get my speed up and finally hit a new PB of 75.61 WPM today!

here’s the quick breakdown:

  • Personal Best: 75.61 wpm
  • Average: around 60.7 wpm
  • Tests completed: 85 (mostly 30s time mode)

i'm also including an imgur link to a video so you can see how i type and that the speed is real.

i'm still pretty young (no hate because i'm a kid, would have been nice) and my goal is to hit 100 wpm eventually. if anyone has tips on how to get there (or if you see anything weird with my form in the video) let me know.

how’s this for a beginner? would love some real feedback from people who are actually fast at this lol.

Other than "I" and "a" and whatnot, what do you think is the fastest word to type. I personally think "today" since the letters are far and easy to place your fingers on beforehand. ("Today" is what I got this with)

I've been practicing touch typing for a while and want to break through my current plateau. Based on my stats on Monkeytype (monkeytype.com/profile/rumyp), what do you think is the single most important thing I need to work on to improve my speed?

I have been practicing typing for a while and reached around 75 to 80 WPM on normal text with good accuracy

Recently I switched to coding mode with symbols, brackets, and punctuation, and now my speed is around 30 to 50 WPM

It feels much harder because of all the special characters, frequent use of shift, and less predictable patterns compared to normal words

Looking for advice on how to improve speed and get comfortable with coding typing. Any tips or practice methods would help
