Been teasing updates for 1.2.4 for a while now, and here’s one of the changes I’ve been working on.

Take a close look at this preview and try to figure out what’s different — no hints this time.

I’m curious to see what you all notice first and how it feels overall in terms of usability and design. Does this feel like a solid improvement, or did I overdo something here?

Hello, my name is FabianExplainer, I am an app reviewer and its been 3 weeks since I had minimaa.

Minimaa got showcased twice, in the best April apps on HowToMen, and on the best launchers on HowToMen.

Minimaa is a 1 dollar launcher and is completely built offline and no tracking.

I have to say is that the developer deserves anything for this.

INTERIOR

I really like this. I can make great setups with great wallpaper, like the Big Ben, and has 5 modes, one for mindfulness and focus (ZEN) and is great.

The app has much features like detox, porn blocker (new), calendar, clock, music player, battery status multiple looks, and even games like snake on something mode.

Overall, is solid, but if you have to compare between Minimaa and PhiLauncher, minimaa is for simplicity, and minimalism, even if both have one time purchase thing.

BUGS & PROBLEMS

I have discovered some bugs, but I didn't consider to report them since others did their job at this.

But in overall 90%, is polished, and no bugs at all!

As an endup, this launcher means everything for me. Is on top 1, after key and phi overall.

It helped me so much for this time and I really want to see its future.

Overall, this launcher i recommend TOTALLY, if you are looking for a detox and simple minimalism launcher, this is your choice.

Everything is perfect... I am using Motorola Signature. After using this launcher, I feel everything is in my control. Hats off to the developer! Only one suggestion: kindly show the battery percentage in the battery clock widget.

Made some real improvements to the scroller in this update, not just visual, actually more usable now.

🚀 What changed

👆 Less finger stretch, easier scroll

Earlier you had to drag almost the entire screen to move through the list.

Now the scroller is resized and tuned so you can navigate faster with less effort. It just feels more natural.

🔤 Alphabet jump, but smoother

The side index is more responsive now with better touch handling and feedback — jumping between sections feels quicker and more controlled.

🏠 Scroll directly from home

Yeah… straight up inspired by Niagara 😌 (Everything is a copy of a copy, I’m not even arguing)

You can now trigger the scroll from the home screen itself. And no, it’s not forced — toggle it ON/OFF from settings.

✨ Refinements that actually matter

Better animations, cleaner spacing, improved touch feedback — overall it feels smoother and a bit more premium now.

Still in development will take few days to roll-out the update..👇

Big Ben is an inspiration from the Big Ben from London, but with gray-white to reduce screen, and minimalist view.

Great for reducing blue-sceen and for great looks, simplicity and minimalism!

This setup is inspired from Minecrafter setup and it is the same context.

This one unless Minecrafter, is a bit more polished, experimented little things, and lookin great.

I love minima because it is just one time purchase and I don't have to spare money monthly for other launchers.
