Hi- never had an eating disorder in Melbourne but I’ve relapsed. I was in hospital a bunch in Adelaide for it, and I’m worried it could end up the same way here.
I’m Austin/st Vincent’s catchment and I’m just wondering if anyone could tell me what their hospitals/ programs etc are like in a medical/ ed inpatient/ program way?
I was really familiar with Adelaide but this unknown terrifies me
Hi, I used SANE for phone support a few years ago, and they also have forums which they say are clinically moderated.
Fast forward, the phonelines no longer operate as counselling/referral and are sort of a brief chat thing where they tell you how good Sane is and ask if you want to join Sane Recovery Club, their own mental health programs?
I used to recommend SANE because of the focus on complex mental health, but i feel something off about them and feel no one really knows what they do? Does anyone know?
Patients discussion - they hsve forty - 50 drs, good clinical programs and ability to really help. But ive seen a terrifying one here as well as a sweet and competent man who kept me alive.
Does anyone know of any good psychiatrists in the hospital?
