First time doing a large veg garden! Please let me know how this plan is coming along?! Any big issues or suggested changes? Open to any and all advice.

The beds are done, but the cattle panel trellises (marked with dotted lines) have not been installed yet so they can still be edited. The entire space gets full sun but I have been trying to use trellises to help create shade for brassicas, etc. as well as dampen winds. I’m located on a hill and winds often get up to 25-35mph, usually from the South (bottom right) or N/NW (left side) and sometimes from the East.

Top Right corner is East (AM sun) / Bottom Left is West (PM sun.)

The white space is what’s left for more plantings!

EDIT: Beds are all 20x4ft. 18” deep verticals, 12” horizontals. Located in Zone 7(b?) East Tennessee

Did anyone here start with or is still currently doing a very small backyard operation?

Very interested to hear from anyone who started ultra small. Maybe in their own backyard, found a few local clients through online groups or maybe even family, friends, acquaintances - but legitimately had real sales going consistently, even if very small.

Greens wash station budget set up

It ain't much but just thought I'd share our new greens washing station. Last year we just had a shop vac blowing into a tub on the floor, this should be much more ergonomic and allows us to do a lot more greens. The air pump is what they use in Jacuzzis and it's not super loud which is nice.

Can drain it with gravity into the garden!
