Hello fellow Lyney fans. I recently got our favorite magician to C6 (been playing for years at C2). And I was curious how other people feel about his dummy performance? I don't have much experience with calcs and such, and couldn't quite find much info on C6 Lyney teams/rotations outside of this sub.

I'm curious if this number can go a bit higher. After tons of trial and error, here's what I found worked the best for me -

Durin is C2R1 and on Noblesse.
Chev is C6 and also on Noblesse. (I don't have a better alternate set for either character)
Fischl is C6 and on Scroll using Elegy. I tried a lot of Fischl setups, even with Venti's new bow and a pretty decent Troupe set but team dps was still higher this way.

I don't know if there's a better performance that could net more DPS, but I found firing an additional charged shot (so I already had 5 stacks before using ult) was a considerable DPS gain. Also allowed me to use ult every rotation at 100% ER without needing Lyney to catch his own particles. But just barely.

For rotation, I started Durin EQ, Fischl E/Q, Chev Q/E then quickly switch to Lyney to catch her particles and start blasting 4 CA -> Q-E.

I don't know if there is a better rotation, if so, please let me know! I'd love to see how high he can go, or if anyone else is hitting higher numbers, tell me your secrets!

Lyney at all con levels is terribly underrated. He's such a fun and good damage dealer, even if he isn't hitting the same marks as the newest characters, he's still got great potential for being almost 3 years old.

for context: i pulled for clorinde like 3 days ago and i had chevreuse c4, so i said, hmm im gonna pull for her c6 but no more than 30 pulls, hope i get some copies of her!! AND I DID A SINGLE 10 PULL AND I GOT ONE OF MY DREAM CHARACTERS, not only gameplay-wise, i love his design and lore, BUT IM NOT PREPARED SINCE I JUST FINISHED GETTING CLORINDE'S ELEMENTAL TO LEVEL 10, im at 2mill mora, i stole some of neuvi's artifacts for lyney but IDK WHAT IM DOING, i need a general guide on him, who can i play him with, best f2p weapons and talent levels, I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW BUT I WANT TO BUILD HIM ASAP!!

This was before I got lyney but I got him on the chronicle banner so I'm very happy
I mainly did this without reference so his hair looks weird in some places to me

I just got c3 lyney, yay!!! (it took 467 pulls to go from c0 to c3 tho.. not so yay 😭)

but that's not what this is about! I came here for advice because honestly.. I know next to nothing about rotations or optimizing damage and stuff 😭

is this good damage for c3? I feel like he's underperforming somehow, or maybe it's because the newer units just feel so much stronger in comparison without this much investment lol

if there's a way to improve him somehow, I'd like to know if maybe it's a rotation issue or artifact issue that I could fix! or maybe it's just a skill issue HAHAHAH i don't know 😭

rolled an onset goblet i strongboxed and i’m absolutely freaking out!! once i get a better hat and c6 i’ll be unstoppable- glad to see my dedication to Marechaussee domain since 4.0 is paying off😭

I didn't have a Sigewinne before this, I didn't have a Silvershower Heartstrings bow before this... But now I do...

I have been saving since Kinich ran last summer, making sure I have enough if he were to run at any point, I have been prepping his artifacts since the banner has been announced (and slight stealing from Gaming) to the point that he is below 7% on Akasha at level 80. And I get done dirty and lost at 80 to the pair of them.

I know people must be a bit fed up with these Lyney pulls, and I apologise for adding to it. Just wanted to share my pain. Have been a lurker for a while for our boy tho.

Got Sigewinne on Pity 80 (was already at 40 from the Sumeru banner), then Lyney on Pity 10, then another Lyney and an Emilie in the same 10-pull on Pity 30. And yes, Emilie was after Lyney, so I have another fate point for him 😃
