Ayo! I just bought tickets for LTL this year, will be my first ever music festival! Any general advice for a first timer? I’m already aware of the heat, I am from the south 😅

What’s your non headline hype?

I know headlines get you in the gate but what bands in the grey are you looking forward to.
For me: Powerman 5000, Soulfly, and Mushroomhead.

Dress code concerns

Killjoys! Loudmouths! I'm thinking about doing an MCR cosplay themed outfit for the festival. My biggest concern is being denied entry for breaking dress code.

YES I have read the dress code policy on their website-but I still can't be too sure so I'd like your opinion if you've been before! Below are the items I'm most concerned about. The only thing that stood out on the policy was "no colors/no patches" which I'm assuming refers to gangs. I'd hate to be mistaken for a gang member!

First time at a festival

Hello everyone,

I have recently taken up an obsession with concerts and was interested in multiple artist at LTL this year so decided to pick up a pass for both Saturday and Sunday. Me and a few friends will be driving from out of state and this will be all of our first times at any sort of music festival at all.

I am excited to see multiple artists but I am particularly excited to see Gojira on Sunday and am hoping to be on the barricade for their set. I was unable to find any info on the bands sub so I figured this would be a better place to ask anyway. Does anyone have any tips for when to get to their particular stage? I am not new to queuing for barricade at a show but like I said, have never been to a festival or even a Gojira concert so I don’t know what to expect from other fans wanting the same as me. I’d rather not wait at one stage all day but I am willing to camp in one spot for a while in order to secure a rail position, I just don’t know when a good time for them specifically will be because I’m not familiar with their fan base. Also as far as the lineup goes, maybe this is a silly question but I’m assuming the lists of artists will be who is all playing at the same stage? If so Gojira will be the “biggest act” at their respective one and I am hoping to catch a few sets from the lineup at the Tool stage (not tool). How likely are my chances to see some of them and still being able to make it to a good spot for Gojira?

Additionally, when is usually a good time to get to the venue to go in when it opens? I read that festivals usually open around 11-12 but how does actually entering work?

Thank you☺️

Looking for friends!

Hi! My girlfriend (f22) and I (m23) will be attending LTL for the first time this year and are looking for some friends to roll with around our age. Figured we’d look here since we’re rather reserved and don’t see ourselves randomly making friends at the festival 😅

We both drink and smoke, but are in no way “experienced stoners”. We’ll be staying at a hotel in a nearby town about 20 minutes from the venue. Hope to see y’all there!
