[found] Angry Video Game Nerd: "Nintendo Miracle Piano"

[found] Angry Video Game Nerd: "Nintendo Miracle Piano"

A lost episode from the early days of The Angry Video Game Nerd had been found by star/series creator James Rolfe himself for the series' 20th anniversary, and edited into a watchable format.

The episode is a short one, consisting of James reviewing a rather obscure NES add-on, a piano known as the "Miracle Piano". In James' words:

>"April 6th 2006 was the day that the ‪@JamesNintendoNerd‬ channel was created (even though the first video was posted on April 8th), making today the 20th anniversary of the Angry Video Game Nerd and Cinemassacre on YouTube! For the special occasion here is a lost Angry Nintendo Nerd episode from 2006 on the Nintendo Miracle Piano. For the past 20 years, this "episode" only existed as raw footage. I didn't think it was very good, and I later covered the Miracle Piano in the NES Accessories episode, deeming the original footage obsolete. But after all this time has passed, I decided you may want to see it, since it's a vintage piece of Nerd history. So I finally edited it!"

Radio Commercial About Epstein’s Death [fully lost]

(04/06/2026): I remember around the time of Epstein’s death, there was a memorial read on the radio of remembering him fondly. It was a man’s voice, and he said something along the lines of “We’ll remember or miss our dear friend Jeffrey Epstein” or something. It also might have had some shitty piano music playing as well. Not sad, it sounded like shitty commercial music. If it helps any, I was in CT at the time in the Farmington Valley, although, I don’t remember what radio station, I was only 13. It must’ve been a day or two after his death, and I heard it at about 6:00 at night. I don’t know if that’s enough information, but that’s all I remember.

[talk] Original high-quality cover art for 2009-2011 "Blog Era" Hip-Hop projects

I am looking for "lost" digital assets from the 2009-2011 "Blog Era" of hip hop. Specifically, the original high-resolution cover art for several projects where the original hosting sites are now defunct.

The specific covers needed are:

Every archived link I’ve found is unresponsive, or the image hosting has expired. Does anyone have the original high-quality files from this era archived?

[Found] Japanese Singer Masahiko Kondo (Matchy) sings his hit single Blue Jeans Memory With a Broken Arm (1981)

I am a fan of Japanese music and this one has been an internet white whale for me for a while and I figured someone else may also enjoy it. I do not know the full story behind this one because I live in America and I often do not fully understand absolutely everything about Japanese music. This is Japanese singer Masahiko Kondo singing Blue Jeans Memory from 1981 with a broken arm. This song was also used in a Japanese movie of the same name and featured the Tanokin Trio.

I do not know how this particular instance of Matchy's broken arm happened but I suspect maybe during filming of the movie or during the making of a music video because I seem to remember some of his music videos featuring motorcycles.

[partially lost] Looking for a copy of the text "Punk Rock Is Fascist" by Cornelius Cardew

I am looking for a (digital) copy of the text "Punk Rock Is Fascist" by Cornelius Cardew. It was published in the UK by the Progressive Cultural Association in the first issue of Cogs And Wheels on 26/7/77. The text is referenced online but is hard to locate. Any information is appreciated.

The PCA (UK) was founded by composer Cornelius Cardew in 1976. It was strongly aligned with Maoist/Marxist-Leninist views and aimed to make art an active participant in anti-fascist, anti-capitalist struggles.

There is an image of a couple of pages of Cardew's text viewable on IRCAM's twitter feed time stamped 7:02 pm 30 Aug 2020. I have sent a note to IRCAM to see if they have a copy of the full text.

[partially lost] Looking for an early 2000's San Jose punk rock song called "To Bend The Lines" by Slippy

This might be a long shot, but I’m trying to track down an old band from the San Jose scene called Slippy (early 2000s era).

One of their songs (“To Bend The Lines”) was featured in Friday Night Lights (Season 3, Episode 9, around 23:37–25:16) but the track doesn’t exist anywhere online... no working links, no uploads, nothing.

The link to the clip that contains the song is in my reddit post here - https://www.reddit.com/r/Sunnyvale/comments/1sdsfku/help_me_find_this_early_2000s_san_jose_punk_rock/

The youtube link below is the only clip I’ve been able to find of them (their song that's not the one i mentioned earlier starts around 51:25):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dyzl1J66ic

I’ve checked Discogs, old articles, YouTube, still no luck. I did find an old Metro Silicon Valley article that mentions Slippy being on a local compilation CD (“Support Your Local Musician”), so I know they were part of the scene around that time:

https://www.metrosiliconvalley.com/papers/metro/05.24.01/aural-0121.html

Shazam is able to identify the song, but no preview is available, and the links to youtube music and apple music lead to nowhere... nothing at all. I found them on discogs, and contacted the producer streetlight records.. but they said they have no memory of Slippy, and haven't played their music in well over a decade

So I figured I'd reach out to Reddit for help

I need to find the full song, BADLY!

Do any of you happen to remember Slippy, have anything of them collected, know anyone who was in the band, or have any idea where their music might exist (old CDs, demos, archives, anything)?

I’d seriously appreciate any lead at all

Thank you!

[PARTIALLY LOST] Turning Gray (EP) - CG5

I don't know if anyone remembers the post that u/lizterzapzap originally made about this, but I just got the BIGGEST lead in finding it. You can actually find previews of the song off Amazon, but only if you're not signed in, which I think is pretty weird. But still, this is huge and it could potentially lead us into finding the full songs!!!! I'm honestly so excited because I recently adding "Turning Gray" and "Celadon" to his AOTY artist page an I really wanna do a proper review of both projects. Celadon is still up and alive, but Turning Gray is still lost to time. But with this new lead, I think we can actually get someone

Minecraft Blind Bag Minifig Animated Commercial Shorts [fully lost]

I remember as a kid watching shorts/commercials based off of the Minecraft Blind Bag toy line, specifically the Greek Mythology series line.

If I remember correctly, the premise was Poseidon giving the rest of the minifig characters a series of challenges to win, each short being a task they'd complete. One of which being crossing a bridge, and the Harpy minifig flying over it instead.

When I try looking for it, all I find is LEGO commercials under the same "Minifig" name. I know for sure they're official commercials that were reposted onto Youtube under an official channel, which is how I got to watch them again after seeing them as commercials. Does anyone know about or remember these?

Creepy video [talk]

The video is about a weird, human-looking creature advertising in front of a camera something called "The Cure." The creature has a weird trumpet that covers its face below its eyes which I recall being black and quite large. There are weird cuts in the animation, and one, IIRC, depicts the creature having the trumpet attached to it forcefully. Two people seem interested in "the cure". It has jagged animation, similar to David Firth but it is not his creation. It has a part two in which the creature sends a girl to gather more ingredients for the cure.

I can not find it. If anyone can, please give a link. Thank you in advance!

[partially lost] TryHardNinja's "That girl is crafty" prequel animation. I'm not sure if its gone from YouTube.

Suffering from nostalgia right now, there was an animation of how the two characters in "That Girl is Crafty" showing how they first met each other. I do not remember the title or what channel it was from but I just couldn't find it on YouTube unless its gone. I tried searching from upload history but I don't see it anywhere. "That Girl is Crafty" By TryHardNinja. What drove me to look for it was because I heard a familiar tune of wind instrument being played in the supposed video.

The video starts with male MC going into a cave to save a girl that was being attacked by 2 fake zombies, but was jumped by the girl and her 2 henchmen, stealing his diamond. The girl sorta regret what she was doing until a real zombie later appears and spooked the 2 henchmen, leaving the girl captured and male mc behind. The male mc saves the girl and they become friends.

Edit:

What I'm looking for, but its not the original its grayed out, I found footage of the actual content of the video I'm looking for but its attached to the song, overwritten with a different song, and grayed out.
