ABS/Steering

I have a 1996 Lincoln town car signature series. For over a year since I got the car the abs has always been a little awkward especially in the steering. If I oversteer, my wheel will lock on itself and spin back into place, making a grinding sound under my foot on the brakes due to the pump and the computer fighting itself. Has anyone experienced this issue? And if you have, how did you fix it?🥲

What is this?

I recently bought a 1995 Lincoln town car and saw this installed on the driver’s kick panel. It says Clifford on it, which usually car alarms come to mind, but I don’t see this being that since it already comes with anti-theft from the factory. Is it supposed to be an aftermarket aux input? It has a 3.5mm jack.

Finally got my dream Car but I have a question

I finally bought my dream car 2009 TC Executive L

But I have one question about the parking aid does this trim have it ? Because it’s not showing up when I put it in reverse and I can’t find the module anywhere I looked both sides of the trunk and behind the rear bumper

Lurching + clunking noise from P to D/R

My town car tends to physically lurch and make noises when shifting gears from a cold start.

Tends to get better when the car sits for a few seconds. Could high idle cause this? Also the tranny runs good once it’s in gear.

Been doing some digging online. Worn U-joints, tranny mount? I’ve looked up videos on what those sound like and I don’t think it’s that. Could be wrong. Any ideas?

Gen 2 interior, which do you prefer?

I feel like the 90-94 's dash has a more classic and elegant look than the 95-97. I also prefer the older steering wheel. I've only test driven a 92 but I'm curious what you think. Especially those who have driven both, what are your thoughts on the different interior styles?

Quick and simple way to change transmission fluid.

Remove the tranny fluid hose that connects to the cooler. It’s the one closest to the driver’s side.

Start car for about ten seconds. This will drain the fluid from the transmission pan. Stop the car once the flow starts to weaken.

I got almost a gallon of fluid out. I marked the container and replaced the same amount that came out. I checked the dipstick as well and took it for a test drive. The fluid change took about ten minutes. All is well.

I plan on doing this two more times to replace most of the fluid since the TC takes about 13 quarts.

Now I have changed every fluid on my 2007 TC.

What is this part of the headlight called? 94 Lincoln town car

I’m trying to find a replacement for this part of the headlight and can’t seem to find it. When I search headlights the middle large headlight and the corner light come up, but not this one.

Phone/Remote Start

Is there any mods for a way to remote start the car from my phone?

If not, what’s a good far range remote start system that’s good for DIY?

located in the southeast and summer is rapidly approaching!

thanks!

Just bought a 95 town car, but my switch is broken. I can’t easily find a replacement one. Any suggestions on where to look or what works?
